That's why he's lkefork guy lol...Only wants the 🏆..Put some more feed out there bc that's fair...lol n know I'm not one of those ppl against hunting just hunting on paid land and feeding the.
I can’t afford a deer property myself but my buddy who does have one always feeds a corn and pellets mixed together all year round. Two bags of corn for every bag of pelleted feed, and his deer are pretty big.
I’ve hunted 82 hours since November 21 and have yet to take a deer. I see deer every time I go but one thing I’ve learned having the entire right side of my body paralyzed is that patience is key. The best things happen when you least expect it. Season closes here in Tennessee on January 3rd so I might not get the opportunity to get a deer this season but it’s been a fun one. Congrats on your monster deer LFG!!
LFG had me sweatin on that shot and replay! He didn't show much sign of being shot...but then he showed the blood and I knew he did it! Awesome shot LFG and Congrats on Big Pond #2👍👍🙏✝️🇺🇸🗽🦅💪
ddroped my pb on the last day of iowa late season 11scorable pts 153 2/8 had missing brow a missing g4on 1 side and a missing g5 on the left would of been high 160s brow tine on the right is over 7 inches and the g4 would of been 6 or better plus what everthe little g5 would of been also had an 11in drop tine that had another huge point broken off but not sure what it could of been drop tine is a gnarly point could of just been some palmation or something. Even more special it is the first deer taken off me and dads 128 acres we have spent the last few years preping and getting rdy for big bucks my dad always puts me in the best spots and seemed more happy i got this buck then any big buck he has shot over the last 60years plus of hunting. Wont forget this one thats for sure.
Could have been the fact that he was watching it on that tiny screen but my first thought was that it looked like a great shot lol. Had to go back and watch it again
Hey LFG I know you will probably never see this but you really did inspire me to not give up on a deer I shot my biggest buck last night, it’s a 10 point about 140 inch it may not be giant but it big for me. Keep up the great vids.
I've seen this sort of comment on several hunting videos, and while I agree that scouting/calling/patterning is more satisfying, hunting over a feeder to a landowner/leaser is very rewarding. Me and my neighbor have over 1300 acres that we own/manage. We feed and plant food plots that keep the deer coming in basically year round. We sometimes watch the same groups of deer for several years and make decisions on which ones we harvest and which ones we let walk every year. Also we cull does that don't drop a fawn every year. Over the years the deer population on our land (and the land around us) is very healthy with large does and bucks. I get a lot of excitement when I take a nice buck that I've been basically raising for a few years. Like you said, to each their own, but that's what makes it exciting/rewarding to me.
@@Ozarkemptynesters right on Sir! I live in NW Florida, the public land is a mad house. I make two or three trips a year to hunt my cousin small property in Mississippi. He was raised hunting feeders and still does. I gladly take the opportunity to harvest meat for my family from under a feeder. In my opinion there is no difference between a feeder and a food plot. To each his on. Be blessed.
preach it brotha!! I myself shot my PB this year as well. watched this Deer for 3 years and finally got my chance! this season he changed his pattern up but took 7 straight afternoon sits! i would get off work drive and hour with than a hour to hunt. hard to stay positive sometimes but it seems to pay off. watching this video made me feel that epic emotion you are talking about again! Dang brother hell of a deer and great shot ,gotta have faith in your ability ! That’s why we have good equipment and practice.Congrats and best wishes for 2021!
Awesome video and all but you should try hiking out miles into the remote wild and shooting a wall hanger buck its much more rewarding and the rush is unbeatable. I can't really call this hunting where I'm from here in British Columbia.
Ended up getting a Weatherby in 270 Win in 2004. Converted my BIL over to it fron 308. The round tends to hit so hard that they do not run, they fall were they were hit. I used mostly Winchester silver tips or hand loads from my BIL.
That is a bad ass deer, and a great shot. On the other hand most of us follow you for the information and the commentary. You don’t need to make it so dramatic. Please don’t be like LUNKERS. We love y’all the way you are.
@@johnathonross7099 yeah but it’s about being there at the right time. When I turkey and deer hunt I mostly wait because that’s what you’re supposed to do, sometimes I spot and stalk. I’m from the south and I hunt like that sometimes, that’s mainly how deer hunting works
That's awesome! Congrats! You can see him going down about 10 seconds after the shot straight back on the left side of that right feeder. Good shot man!
Did a lot of scouting, looked at the trail cam, and found the feeder with the big buck. That is hunting 101 my friends, find the best feeder. They can be tricky to locate.
Awesome buck but young deer would’ve been a giant in a year or 2 getting some bigger G4’s and adding more mass. Along with letting bucks like that walk allows them to spread their sweet genes and have more future studs. Besides my rant that is one sweet buck. Congrats
Great shot my heart was pumping with yours amazing shot God bless you as well as your family and friends can't wait to see more of the videos watching all the way from Spain peace out
I hunted for the first time ever yesterday night and this morning. No deers, lots of squirrels and possums though! Walking out to the blind at 5:00am was pretty terrifying as well. Awesome video!
Reading the comments about attracting deer with a feeder. Game depts regulate harvest and methods. It’s legal so no problem. Certain states used to allow dogs to hunt deer. Maybe still do. Party hunting and deer drives are tradition in other states. So it’s tradition in Texas. I remember living in Pennsylvania and saw stacks of small 6’s, 4,s and spike bucks. Deer were rare and you killed the first thing you saw. They never grew up. If you expect and do see lots of deer you can harvest the mature ones and let the genes manifest themselves and be passed on by the 3.5 year olds bucks in their prime. Take the 5.5 year olds (and older) home. Take the management bucks off. They are still trophies if nothing else for the odd looking racks👍
That's a nice deer man! Looks way better than pond deer #1. Congratulations! I was excided for you. When I watched the clip you gave us of the impact though.. Lol that was an obvious solid shot but you were so nervous you were doubting yourself. Lol Good job man!

I wish I could hunt multiple deer per season.
Them non resident prices really kill it
You wish you could. But when you kill 2 or 3 bucks a year. It will be hard to even find spikes.
Well get yourself involved in a lease or buy some land and enroll it in MLDP. Two years ago I never saw so many deer in my life in North Texas.

LFG, we both know the hunt for the Pond Deer is not, in fact, over. It's still out there. It will still haunt your dreams until next year.

Not really when you hunting high fence and over a feeder
@@lukemorris1919 I say you can hunt the way you want. Here in Missouri deer hunting is quite different... no feeders allowed but I still respect him.

Congratulations Super Nice Buck, yes very unique. He's going to look Awsome on the Tree house Wall !! Definitely worth the wait.
Awesome deer! Idk if y’all do, but during the off season it would be a good idea to feed the deer pellets instead of corn for antler growth.
