Insane, how much effort is put into the caps. When you ever can get your hands on them, you know that the effort is worth it and superior to other caps produced today. It is really that much of a difference.

When I say I don’t mind waiting 2 years for keycaps, I meant waiting for keycaps of such craftsmanship. Thanks for sharing this video

Good news, then. The current lead time is just about 11 months. 🤣 But so far only a part of the Keymacs kits.

There's a little bit of flashing over the legend after the second shot. How do you remove it? Just light sanding?

No, sanding would ruin the surface. Just isopropyl alcohol, small brush, and a lot of patience. 😉

What did you rinse the keycap into after molding ?? It looked so great.

Just a water bath with a little of PU cleanser, in particular, I have used the Dr. Schutz brand PU-Reiniger Unterhaltsreinigung.

What do you use to inject the PU into the mold?

It is a standard 14-gauge luer-lock syringe (olive color, 1.55mm internal diamater).

    That's insane!
I'm currently looking for a ways to cast DS keycaps for myself and your process looks incredibly amazing, yet impossible to use in my circumstances as long as I don't have a desktop CNC
Have to find out the way to do it just using sculpting techniques I know🥲
