I wrote a book about it (taking in the whole tournament) in 1996-97, and the Aberdeen FC Heritage Trust published it in 2017 to commemorate the 50th anniversary. 1967 was an incredible time to be a ten year old football addict.
That was absolutely fascinating, and really entertaining 👏 😀 I really enjoyed it, and I will be watching it a few times, I think! Just brilliant 👏 👌 COYW, Always Wolves 🐺
Amazing channel. People don't fully appreciate how rich and vast is the history of Los Angeles. Way different from these preconceived notions and the superficial facade. I was so close to visiting LA one point myself. I had experience with modeling and in late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part and I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity. That would've been a real dream come true to visit Southern Cali.
Thanks to my dad the first word to ever come out of my mouth was “Dougan” (quite a hard ‘un for a firstie!), my second was “Wolves” third was “Dad” then “Mom” ALWAYS WOL🧡ES ALWAYS HAS BEEN ALWAYS WILL BE!!!
Ally Shewan, Jimmy Smith. bobby Clark, Tommy McMillan, Martin Buchan, harry Melrose (capt), J Whyte, Jim Storrie. So many Aberdeen legends - no nonsense footballers.
We managed to collar one of your youngsters from that game and he became a real Wolves legend after being converted from No 10 with Aberdeen to number 5 with Wolves. The great Frank Munro. Munro. Munro, Munro, Munro, Munro! KTF UTW
I would love to see the MLS and USL get more exposure, if the EFL and American soccer leagues set up some sort of tournament I think it would help promote the game in the states. Unfortunately for most Americans the only time we watch is every 4 years, Mens and women’s WC. Introducing more people to the top level of professional soccer more often I think would increase the amount of viewers and fans. (Premier league summer series was a great example of this).
WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS
WHAT A FANTASTIC FOOTBALL CLUB
Hats off to Wolves media team. A very well presented documentary. Remarkable.
Great documentary. Up the Wolves
I've been following soccer in the US for 30 years. I never knew this league existed. Fantastic stuff!

That team line up brings a lump to my throat & brings back my earliest WOL🧡ES memories: Parkes, Knowles, Doug, Waggy et all - pure (old) gold

Fascinating documentary. Great job Wolves.
Loved every minute of that, great production. 🐺
I’m glad I finally got to see this. I learned things about the history of the team, and the game footage had me on the edge of my seat!

Great times standing on the North Bank in the 60s we had some team a proper man's game no quarter given or asked for the Doog was magnificent ❤
Excellent work - thoroughly enjoyable watch!
