I don't know much about MNL but I love this video and they've made a great impression on me! They've got a great presence and 'attitude' or edge and in terms of their image, while none of them have the overly cutesy or girl next door aura, I'd also say there's something about them that feels approachable? Like I'd feel comfortable saying hello if I passed them on the street or met them at an event without being overly intimidated. I also like that they all seem strong and healthy whereas many idols seem too thin, which as a woman, it's nice to see girls that look strong and healthy rather than overdieted. I hope they continue to do well and we can see more of them!
MNL48 girls for me bring genuine relatability, especially if you have followed their story from the beginning. They are not perfect and never claimed to be, they are ordinary girls working their best for their dreams. You see them grow and improve. Thank you for appreciating them.

The journey of relating and admiring idols as they grow and bloom is one of my favourite parts of idoldom so I'll have to keep supporting them and see how they turn out!

I'll just drop this trivia for new fans. Mnl48 originally has swag and pitik in their dance movements, this was back when they're starting. Ph wotas and international wotas noticed this and said they need to be more soft. If you watch their aitakatta performance, mas western yun galawan nila than jpop. Because of that the girls practice dancing softly and delicately, with more elegance. And you'll see that soft and elegant moves in 365 and IAM performances. And now the girls dance according to what they learn.
Akala ata Nila hindi nag training Ang MNL48.. bago sila mag Release ng Single nag training reahearsal sila. Filipino Choreographer lang Naman ang coach Nila Coach Angel..
And to think they practiced online via zoom due to the pandemic and still managed to produced this level of synchronized performance speaks of the level of talent these girls have.
Sa mga sanay na sa JPOP, they are actually more synchronize comparing to other groups. Ang mahirap pa lalo na kapag nagla-live sila is naiiba yung pwesto nila. For example, 8 lang ang pwede umakyat sa stage, they need to adjust their positions or change their roles. So, halos kada performance nila, may changes. I do think na mahirap mag-adjust for a short time.
Some of you need to stop fkn complaining and appreciate the work put in here. Consider the challenges they went through this whole shoot and think why they logically filmed and edited it this way. Just effin stop with the complaints for once. Some of your inconsiderate comments can seriously jeopardize the willingness of creatives and production staff to work with the group. Given what they had to overcome, you should be more grateful.
