How to Get on the Air with an MFJ 1917 Fiberglass Pole, RadioWavz Pathfinder Antenna, and IC-7300

AE4FH, KM4TXT, and KM4IPF are joined by Daddy to set up a temporary field antenna for ham radio. They used an MFJ-1917 fiberglass pole with a RadioWavz Pathfinder end fed all band antenna to make a temporary vertical antenna. This would make a great antenna to use for Field Day or just about any Field Radio operation you might want to do.
This video was the last time the girls got to use the fantastic Icom IC-7300 radio before they had to send it back to their friend who allowed them to borrow it. The also are about to send back the RadioSport headsets that Arlen Communications sent for us to use at the 2017 Orlando Hamcation Get On the Air (GOTA) station. Both the radio and the headsets are a joy to use.
The MFJ-1917 fiberglass pole is a collapsable 43 foot pole that is easily portable and when combined with the RadioWavz Pathfinder End Fed all band antenna, it makes for a very capable antenna set-up. The girls made many contacts on both 20 and 40 meters this day.
