Thank you Dr Mike for the detail info on gallbladder surgery. I had cholecystectomy last Nov 2021. The problem I had after surgery is having loose stool after my first solid intake in the morning. This happens after an hour or 2 after first solid food intake. Is there anything I can do to prevent this especially if I'm going out of the house? I've consulted my primary dr and was told nothing can be done to prevent this. Thank you.

I had my cholecystectomy in Feb this year. Open surgery with drain tubes for a week and month - JP and T-tube. It was a bit of a journey since it started November last year when I had ERCP initially but had complications (internal hemo) so I had to postpone the supposed procedure. I am glad to be recovering well now, I experienced some bloating and gas along the recovery process but very minimal, regular bowel movement - doctor was right that you may feel like the need to go to the toilet often to do number 2 ;🤣. I am glad to be back to work and do my regular activities 6 weeks post surgery. Thank you to my Doctors from UERM . This video is very informative as I worry a lot with my eating habits - Thank you Doc Mike Manio 😊☺
