In the app switcher if u swipe an app it closes but if you pull it down it can be locked so it won't be cleared if you tap on the clear all recent apps option. And u also forgot that miui now has a built in screen recording function.
Still MIUI is not good. I have a Redmi note 4 and I switched to stock Android 7.1.2 in a month after buying the phone. Stock Android is clean, doesn't feel cartoony and its fast. Perfect

Can't believe they didn't fixed notifications. Sure, MIUI has bunch of extra features, but regular Android features are either missing or they aren't working properly.
Google play music is locked for cleaning RAM. But still it stops as if it is not locked. This must be fixed. Lock screen notifications as a whole must be improved in MIUI. That's it. I love MIUI so much.
One of the greatest drawback of MIUI is it lacks icon resizing built in the stock. I'm extremely unhappy as huge bulky icons just spoils the overall look of the any theme. I know with apps like theme editor we can change this, however it still does not work smoothly and restores the icon size after restarts sometimes, why not its being included into stock MIUI 9 when there are much more good features added. ?
You forgot one big addition!! Addition of screen recorder in the tools... That's a great feature!

There is a bug in miui 9 in the file manager, it takes a lot of time to open and you have to refresh again to get access to your data in file manager.
