I just bought an old one of these and I cleaned mine up and it’s been running like a champ now. Saved $200 just by knowing how stuff works and not just part swapping. Great video
Hi Conrad, With the brake assembly off as yours in the video, will this unlock the rear end so it can be rolled away?? None of the towing unlocking procedures are working to push my rxv where its broken down. I just want to be able to move it. Thx
Hey there. We have one of these that burns up the brake every 2 to 3 months, i have bypassed the connector and they dont get wet very often if once or twice a year. and it keeps happening. Has anyone been able to figure out what the actual source of this problem? Seems like all these ezgo carts are doing it.
I just recently replaced the brake on mine and now my cart will barely move in reverse and only go like half speed foward . Any idea what the problem could be ?

Thank you for the videos! I have been fighting this problem and this was very helpful.
I like your style and great videos!!!!
that is a really well designed brake, if the windings have an issue you can just replace the windings as a unit, I wish mobility scooters did that!
Great video. I watched the bypass video as well. In your opinion, do both these things still need to be done??
So did it work?
Did the drain holes help?

Good Day james c, when the brake assembly is removed, the cart can be rolled away. Please be careful to do this on level ground.
Yes, it should move freely now.
So, the entire assembly must be changed? There is no rebuild kit?
There’s no repair kits unfortunately.

That's what I don't want to happen. I don't see anything wrong with mine upon taking it apart, no reason for fail
