Thank you so much for inviting me to this Cole🤗 Really fun video, and was very interesting hearing the answers from everyone. Feel like this really contributes to strengthening the community.
Thanks for the invite and the talk!🙌 It was great to see the other designers, their take on building too! Also it came together as a really informative and good video in the end! Great work, Cole!😉
A bit late to the party but thank you so much for this amazing opportunity! So cool being able to hear opinions from all these top builders. I can already see this being such a helpful video! Also sorry for my crappy audio for some reason I couldn’t get the mic working properly 😭
Thanks again for inviting me in this video! Was great to get to know you a bit more (and all the other designers)! Definitely enjoyed the whole video! Awesome job
I don't mainly build lego cars, I was mainly in the Lego Weapons community, but since switching to freelance I've been dabbling in pretty much every part of Lego Builds. I have made quite a bit of cars as well with different designs in different sizes. Some of the things I learned are 1. Focus on the shape first and formost, the shape is the most important part in creating a car model. Smaller details matter, but if you are sacrificing the shape for the detail, it would ruin the shape. Shape is what makes the car "The Car". 2. For smaller models, there are just shapes and details, that are incredibly hard to capture. Instead of trying to get the curves and the angles perfect, keep it simpler. Being the builder adds a disadvantage, it has a creator bias, which means details that you have envisioned may not be seen as such by other people. Every once in a while, take a break, after a while look at the model as a whole and maybe compare the vehicle. It can help get rid of that tunnel vision on that one detail, and get a better idea on how to continue the project or make adjustments that could work. 3. Just keep trying ideas, there are no bad ideas In lego, just try out things and see what works and what doesn't. Yes it's very annoying when you get an idea and it doesn't work but there's eventually going to be one or a few that would turn to something actually great.
Great video! It was really nice talking to you and now also getting to know some fellow builders a bit better. Oh and sorry for swinging on my chair so much, I was kinda nervous 😅
Awesome video Cole! It was great to hear from many different builders! Honestly I learned how to build detailed Lego cars before I bought my first Speed Champions, but they are cool sets.
I modded the supra to have your custom front, an engine, a spoiler, stanced wheels, nos in the trunk, a exhaust, and then a detailed under carriage accurate to a real supra gr

My current speed champion sets are listed below: -Lamborghini Countach -Nissan GTR NISMO -Ford set(includes Ford GT and Ford Bronco) -Koenigsegg Jesko My other major sets include: -Lego classic 900pcs -Lego Star Wars Star Fighter (basically a ton of gray peices and triangular peices) Any ideas/ inspiration appreciated.

Aston Martin Vantage, haven't made a video on it yet.
Get instructions of BMW m3 2010
Does anyone know how to get the old 6 wide cars? I want to convert them to 8 wide.
I would try bricklink.com or eBay.
Build a American muscle car like a Chevy or a Chevy c10
The countach at the thumbnail looks like a bugatti i dont know the name of
probably the EB110
