I have a 21 mile out-and-back route (flat bike trail) that is my go-to when I should do a ride but I am just not feeling it. I know that I can always ride that route and get in some activity/miles. It is not, but at least I got out for some exercise.
I was in Carp last week at the beach. got 163 mi and had a blast. Weather was awesome. Surf was 65 degrees. No wetsuit. I enjoy your posts and give me ideas where to go. Back to Carp in Sept
Always a good day to ride (except when it's in the minus temps and snowing outside - I live in Iowa lol) Grew up in So Cal. Missed everything except costs of living, the crowds and traffic.
@@cyclinginsoutherncalifornia checkout “indieVelo Grand Tour” on RUclips search and there is a silly little video about it from Toto. You’ll want the Google docs details link in the description 👍🏻
What are your thoughts on super high end Lycra bibs? I have a bunch of Pearl, Enduro,Speciaized and Voler (club kits) bibs.I have had no issues with my back to back long distance rides and of course shorter weekday rides. But I was thinking of upgrading to Assos,MAAP or Rapha or some other super high end brand. Assos is my first choice, but I have no experience with them. Your thoughts?
Yep, those are the same homes that Bob and I drool over when we head to midtown from Westside. Gorgeous with gorgeous views.
Great video! Thanks for sharing!

Sounds great!
Love how you thought that tiny stretch of overpass was your sketchy sections. It's like that my whole ride living in Long Beach 😂
@@nerigarcia7116 it was empty that day of the drug dealers, gangs, and homeless people.

You got that right!
Also would you be interested in racing in the upcoming indieVelo Grand Tour 5 day stage race?
There are jerseys for GC, mountain and sprint!
@@sigfreed11 where’s that?

@@hardmtnbiker if there’s one item where quality matters… it’s bin shorts. My personal favorite is Castelli… they fit me the best.
@@cyclinginsoutherncalifornia I have owned those Castelli bibs and jerseys and like them
Do you ride in any local cycling clubs/teams?
@@sigfreed11 just the LBS which is essentially a random group of dudes that show up every weekend at the same place.
....42 after 80+ is alot....maybe cut it down, you know you were tired.....I ride that bridge right by my house all the time, it's not that scary
