EU4 but MISSIONS give PERMANENT BONUSES
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 18 окт 2024
- In today's Europa Universalis IV (EU4) video we will be using a mod that makes ALL MISSION TREE REWARD MODIFIERS PERMANENT. That means every single nation that gets buffs from their missions will receive those bonuses forever, assuming they can make it happen.

"Albania is my favourite tag"
Dahomey: this means war
True, I do love Dahomey
@@triko03 dahomey
DAMN IT, I WANT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS WITH ALL THE MONUMENTS IN DAHOMEY
No comments?
Yes, El Dorado comes from the Muisca, actually Bogota's airport is called El Dorado. The lake is called Guatavita, but no longer has gold in it, was dragged several times. The Muisca leader would jump into the lake with gold garments and leave them there for the gods. As a curious fact, one of the Muisca gods is Bochica, a White man with long beard that arrived in a boat after a flood and taught them many agricultural and metallurgical things. Last thing, is that the EU4 model for the Muisca is definitely not accurate. Far from it.
Can confirm, am Bochica
nah, thats colonial propaganda
bochica wasnt "white"
@@tmcxd1165 Source: trust me bro
@@TrondelagianPatriotsriseup Why are you asking me first if the first to claim he was "white" posted before me and is more visible.
There's simply no single evidence of europeans in south america before columbus.
@@tmcxd1165 why so serious homie 😂
I love stacking infantry combat ability. Why?
"Because it's so much fun Jan"
The OPM Indian tag is really rare, it only spawns via a semi-rare event if Ethopia isn't doing very well
What's the name?
@@crusaderACRsiddi state of habsa
@@ramp597 Nothing at the wiki hints at it being rare. Province of Konkan or Kanara coast owned by large-ish muslim state, MTTH of just 50 years. Or 25 years if the country owns Chaul. Counting since 1500.
No reference to Ethiopia's state, except for the country's culture being Amhara.
@@crusaderACRyeah I have it trigger in a lot of my hindustan campaigns
I see it pop up nearly every game so I question it being rare at all.
I like stacking attrition for enemies. It may not be the strongest but it is so satisfying to watch enemy armies melt away with no input on your end
It's really fun, sadly capped.
My personal favourite is governing capacity, I love playing wide but also getting the maximum amount of gains out of my provinces, also it's really satisfactory to see the green bar go down when you build courthouses.
Finishing a giant stack of courthouses is satisfying as hell, I agree
Just stated the entire world as Ottomans with pascha ability :D
We need a Welsh mission tree, and we need Wales to be a Vassal of England in 1444. Wales was only integrated into England when Henry the 8th did the act of union.
The problem with Wales is that it was never a single polity
@@Stevonicus neither was albania, muscovy, odoyev, ryazan, bohemia, austria, etc.
Thats why voltaires nightmare exists.
@@youtuberobbedmeofmynamei mean they were polities. But they had vassals. But with that argument, the german empire also wasnt a polity.russia isnt anpolity. Because they have semi independent vassals inside their polity, foesnt make them fake
This is such a fun idea, would love to see you actually play a scenario like this! Got to be some really weird modifiers you could max out (like spy network construction, or prestige from battles for Kongo or something)
Also love it when Korea does well, always feel like an underdog against the hordes
Agreed for sure! I hope you’ve been well, Rory, I miss you ❤️
Here iam. *Insert epic music*
actualy funny ngl
I am impressed at the performance of Lithuania and the Mamluks. Heck this whole run was pretty wild.
Gonzaga’s dynasty ( from the Tiny Ferrara ) as rulers of Lithuania is quite cursed. I love it
I must say, old mission trees that give good modifiers for only 20 years infuriate me cause most of the times I can't either benefit from them to their full potential or I use them once or twice and then later on in the campaign I realize "oh I kind of need that now" but because of claims I need to redeem them.
7:30 As a Indonesian, I will say only Indonesian that will truly mindblowed with this because there was a real cases were someone declare the Sunda empire, and then getting arrested by the police because seemed as separatism 😂😂, It was viral at the time
I wonder what the Indonesian colonizers from very hot and tropical Java think about the weather in Greenland. 😂
My favorite modifier to stack is advisor cost. Having cheap level 5 advisors removes the rng of your monarch and guarantees a strong country. You can throw said mana points at whatever you like with relatively little concrete for the cost. It's almost like removing mana points from eu4 would make it better...
It would definitely make it easier
But how will simulate the institution and westernisation
Always thought the game needs much more permanent modifiers , nice idea !
Pre-video guesses: THE HRE is gonna be STRONG this time through I think. With the stacking Imperial authority and diplo rep buffs I susepct austria is going to have a good game if otooblob doesn't crush them.
you did not account for the lithuanian menace
10:13 Yeah uh, that's not Labrador. Labrador is the part of the province Newfoundland and Labrador that's on the mainland. Newfoundland is the island
siege ability, province warscore cost, or advisor costs. kinda torn between those three
All three good choices for me as well!
My favorite set of modifiers are AE reduction + province warscore (and some CCR to top it off)
There's just something so satisfying when you take massive chunks of land in a single peace deal and get away with it
Love the new background music, also want all monuments in Dahomey.
It's just the soundtrack from Imperator Rome.
Austria: Unlimited Habsburg Diplomacy POWER!
Lithuania: "Pulls out UNO Reverse card" Get Jagielloned punk!
Now I kind of want to see the permanent event modifiers
Province War Score Cost. That's my favorite modifier to stack. I got 250% overextension when I full annexed the Mamluks as the Papal State in one war. I can't remember how I did it because I haven't done it since, and my country exploded after I did it. But it was one of the funniest things I've ever done.
I would love to see all monuments in Dahomey!
Great video after all, BUT! For me as a potato, I think your videos are getting better as FUQ! Or I just love and enjoying your work even more.
And my favourite video idea now is:
Changing all IA behaviours, characteristic ect to British. So every state LOVES to be on in London and take a good sip of those sweet sweet nritish tea.
Would be funny to watch, I guess ^^
Sundanese Greenland is by far easily the weirdest thing I have ever seen on an EU4 map. Just wow.
I'm in pain. So much pain. Dude just called the island of Newfoundland "Labrador". Labrador is the mainland part of the province, the whole island is Newfoundland.
I want you to name all 50 us states
Video 10 of asking: Can you make a video where every dynasty is a country? So a country getting a regency or something like will get auto-inherited even if they are non-christian or republics.
Sounds fun
You should put all the monument in at least 1 province minor in each continent! GO DAHOMEY!
Definitely do all monuments in dahomies! Interesting to see if a relatively small african nation can become a super power by the end
That's the plan!
Do the dehomi monuments! Sounds super fun.
Always happy to hear Imperator: Rome music...
AE reduction modifiers are the best thing ever for sure, also love your vids brother keep them going!
Apart from the first 50-100 years, doesn't overextension limit expansion by much more than ae?
@@TheKlaun9 That's a good point, admin efficiency is another good bonus but you can work around it with vassals
@@delusionalmontages2339 they can help, but there are workarounds for ae too. I always find that interesting since everyone really loves ae impact, I'm just wondering if that's an early game thing mostly, inefficient conquest (e.g. not prioritizing trade notes in Asia etc) or perhaps an issue on my side
My favourite modifier to stack is goods produced. You can get some truly insane production and trade income even as a "smaller" nation.
And the wider you play, the more insane your income gets.
My proudest moment in a recent campaign as Dithmarschen was taking dalaskogen from sweden along with holding all of the baltic and lübeck nodes.
With the TC bonus to goods produced abd stacking ideas and Missions i got up to +150% goods produced in all of the western european baltics. I almost git the trading boost for copper with only dalaskogen (20 copper produced in one province)
That Hamburg in Scandinavia reminds me of the time I formed Hanover as Norway. lol
I love stacking development modifiers, building tall is so fun!
7:17 - "How you want your France? We have France, France, France, France and France, which one do you choose?"
I like stacking siege ability. Getting siege ticks below 10 days is awesome
opened the video and the first thing I hear is the Imperator Rome soundtrack. The sound quality may be low but I'm hoping to hear more! I think it's one of the most underrated soundtracks across Paradox games.
I agree 100%! I made a mod letting eu4 players bring it to their game as well :)
@@Chewbert ooh! Wish there was a ck2 version as well, my current restored rome game could use it...
Sardinia-Piedmont has the best map color imo
Stacking advisor cost in early game is so powerful. I remeber having 3 lvl 5 advisors as Bohemia in early 1500's. Mana generation is absurd and you can just snowball out of control.
Labrador is actually portuguese. It's the name of one of the sailors that "first" found and settled it. Yes, The Portuguese got to Canada first.
Here’s a fun mod idea end trade node in Albania? Just direct Genoa to Venice and Venice to Albania then Constantinople and Alexandria to Albania, probably the land route from the east aswell. I’d love to see the ai form the Romans lol.
Historically, the Muisica rite does exist. Hard to know for sure but other civilizations facing Spanish conquerors also perpetuated stories about cities of gold in an attempt to distract them.
Missionary strength and tolerance of the true faith
bro out here being all fangirly for Albanoan red when we all know that it's Sardinian-Peidmontese toothpaste blue the world loves
10:14 You got it right the first time, that island is Newfoundland
Yes all the monuments to the DaHomey. That sounds amazing.
Favorite modifier definitely has to be siege ability with going Innovative divine offensive and espionage
Mhmmmmm my goodness it’s so good. Espionage offensive is insane
I'm a simple man, I just wanna see Dahomeys conquer the world.
12:25 that's northern Chile lol cool video though :)
idk what it is about this video, but it's one of my favorites! Thanks, man.
I'd enjoy seeing all the monuments in Dahomey for all the homies!
Damn I wasn't expecting the Lithuanian Empire. Also, BRING ON DAHOMEY'S
Newfoundland is the island, labrador is the mainlad beside quebec, it was the land britain held directly until after ww2
Favorite modifier to stack has to be siege ability. Taking forts in about a month will never not be satisfying
Yeah i would love to see that :D All the power to Dahomeys
I love stacking siege ability. Nothing like getting a fort tick ever three days.
What if you buffed all hordes and made their ai more aggressive
Now that's what I call a Purple Phoenix ❤️
Stacking Siege Ability
Seeing forts melt under a month is quite satisfying
This in a multiplayer would be amazing.
id love to see the chaos making all the events a permanent modifier...
It is always a treat to watch you're videos!

@@lilholm9446 sorry English is not my native language and I am trying my best
@@haradrim0932 haha im not trying to shit on you, its my second language aswell!
Would be fun to see the emperors of China and HRE have constantly full authority, or at least no malus to it. Same for any other government or religious bars.
Stacking siege ability is fun. Having 3-5 day siege ticks feels super broken

EU4, but Great Powers are in a crisis. (the name might need some work)
Quite simple. Great Powers will get aflicted by some rough disaster (f.e. something like Low Mandate for Ming) or even worse, spice it up with some subject liberty desire or increased power cost.
Let's see if someone manages to establish a proper empire.
About ideas for new videos, there's a mode in Plague Inc that goes by the name of Mirror World and changes the climate and economy to the opposite of it. I don't how feasible it is but I think it'd be a cool video.
Finally mod that makes missions useful.
i like to stack Liberty Desire Reduction because i love doing vassal swarms
Yessss I vote yes to putting all the monuments in Dahomey 😁
8:34, is that Ramazan or Albania? :o
Just think how much more interesting the game has become
I feel like most of them from the tree should be permanent anyway
I have no idea what this message says
Have you ever done a campaign where every country has a 0/0/0 immortal leader and heir
My favourite modifier is probably infantry combat ability
Split all world monuments (at random) between Albania and Dahomey and let them battle it out for the title of the Favourite tag!
I'd loved to see the Austrian modifiers 😩
Do the missions that give events for Sweden give permanent modifiers?
I wonder if it's possible to mod, but I'm aware of at least 2 things (please add more) that are changed from player to ai because the ai can't handle it: generals are free and forts are ignored. I'd love to see a sim with them being treated like a player to see what the issues are (minus hard coded events the player always gets like Iberian wedding, don't think they add much).
Regarding what modifiers are best: siege, ccr, admin eff, tech cost and annex cost are the clear winner for me in that order. I'm impatient, I don't want to spend 50 years conquering the insane dev in south east asia
Goods Produced, cause i like MONEY
Base EU4 except the migratory natives are settled like the mesoamericans from the start.
The strongest mission tree is probably Khmer with the -25% All power costs
cost modifier
Best modifier to stack is obviously hostile core creation cost.
Please do a video where on top of mission modifiers event modifiers stack as well 😄
Lore of EU4 but MISSIONS give PERMANENT BONUSES momentum 100
My favourite modifier to stack is trade efficiency
Another video idea: 200 development in all capials by game start.
Video idea; using The Lord of Universalis see if Gongor can, Indeed, simply walk in to mordor!
You mad lad
i’m a sucker for vassal force limit contribution
One of my biggest negative point with eu4. Is that there is pretty little to stack permanently beside like 4 nations with Admin efficiency
How about you get the multiplier x 10 mod? That'd be a really fun one and also one where your pc probably dies.
I did a video a while back, it was good! But I will likely get back to it
Give Dahomey all monuments and great wonders, and give them infinite mission benefits
23:16 the Austria Dream
Zimbabwe yellow is a pretty good colour
What about discipline? Ain't it always important to stack as much of it as possible?
A but off topic here but can anyone know what mod he uses for the ottoman flag, I’ve been looking everywhere for it. Also the visiual mod for the map because it looks amazing. Thanks
The flags I can’t remember I’m not at my PC but the graphics is chewys graphics :)
@@Chewbert tanks a lot bro
All about that mana points! 🤩
