its just GT Sport "sim cade" physics in AC that wouldn't happen
The lack of grip he's talking about is the low speed acceleration and low speed cornering. Not that the car is slidy at 200kph.

Gt sport has got a very good physic. The problem of unrealistic grip can be solved using sport tyres

WORST DECISION EVER! 😂 We've been there Viper, we know the feel, lol.
The R92CP was tuned to over 1200 bhp during the Le Mans races, and could easily reach speeds over 400 kph even on shorter straights.
I love how long the first gear is. It almost makes you wanna shift at the redline, which you don't, for some reason.

Was hoping to see the LeMans race / carnage but I guess it's a bit boring to watch.

The one mistake you make is go all way down to 1rst gear on slow corners, this is not necessary and make you go over slow and to lose grip on the exit, you just need to go to 2nd gear and accelerate from there. You are driving like in a street car, you should shift gears faster.
Exactly, either change your gear ratios or short shift to a higher gear sooner. You are getting too much wheelspin rather than "no grip"

Beautiful races. Yeah slipstream can be like a double edge sword. At some times, it is great for catching up and at other times...inertia takes over and cause the car to understeer. I learned that the hard way in GT 4, 5, and 6 (and first time hearing it in Midnight Club 3 Dub edition Remix, GT 4 is where I try to understand it and GT 5 is where I try to master it). Thus whenever I slipstream, I picture the upcoming turn and the sharpness of the turn as in degrees (estimate), take a quick glace at my speed and think how fast I should be going to clear the turn (in a normal run) and can my current tires can handle the speed and the turning before going off course or touching the dirt. If I know I am going too fast, I let go of the acceleration before approaching the turn , but never touch the brakes. Just straightened the car out then accelerate. But you recovered very nicely. I have not played any racing game that this sophisticated for a long time, but when you mentioned slipstream and the same turn got you and the other racer, it put a smile on my face on countless of times that I went off course (or missed a checkpoint) and restarted because of slipstream. (^_^)
(All in my opinion and view point or experience and not a general statement.)
Imagine travelling the Nordschleife with that speed in REALITY. I enjoyed a taxi ride on the Nordschleife in a BMW M5 which *only* had 620 hp (and is s proper 4-door sedan) and it still felt ridiculously fast o_O
When I heard that intro I thought of this " Hi I'm Josie Maron and I play Mai on need for speed most wanted. Make sure to do all of your racing in the game. On the street drive safely and responsibly, and ware your seatbelt"

Nurburgring you need to be cautious, most of the curves are at high speed and doesn't have too much space to overtake, just on the end of the track before the straigh you maybe can make an overtake easier

These cars had power, maybe they lacked the cornering ability, but that was excellent, the fans loved the sound of the engines, these cars were iconic, I race the 962 c, xjr-9, Mercedes c9 and the 787b on GT sport like they are doing, I own all the cars they are using, as well as a Toyota ts030, Porsche 919, etc

At the Nordschleife, your nightmare curve that kills you everytime is the one of my most hated place on the whole circuit. You have zero marge for error and you must turn in absolutely commited at high speed.
The most exciting part is when viper suffers.

Simply my steering wheel rotation degree is excessive compared to the in-game rotation. I have to reduce the rotation in the steering wheel settings.

It takes a special kind of reckless to drive these cars without assists on those tires at this track. Gotta love it.
My main favorite I put tons of miles with is the Nissan R92CP. Of all the cars, this one feels the most like a car waiting to crush you the moment you even look at it wrong and with brakes that might slow you down (emphasis on "might").
