Akainu's childhood looked like full of tragedy so he made that angered face. Meanwhile Garp's past was full of adventures just like Luffy.
Akainu’s child design only makes me more curious about his backstory
I wouldn't be surprised if Akainu had like a Grey Terminal type of background and had to constantly fight to survive....probably fight off pirates that ravaged the land. It wouldn't be shocking to me if we actually found out he grew up in Hachinosu and had to suffer the aftermath of the Rock's reign
It is unknown what he went tru as a child MAYBE SOME RUTLESS PIRATES could ve PURGE OR GENOCIDE & Destroy his home town and his parents to and drove him mad to the core to have a Real hatred for pirates and want them all killed and BURN ALIVE AND BURNED TO ASH NO MATTER THE CAUSE OF WAY OF JUSTICE THATS WHY he join the navy and became a fleet admiral we know today that makes sense I would like to know his back story him kizaru and akoji as well.

You can tell Garp was a lot like Luffy until the navy straighten him up a bit lol
I feel like his pops probably forced him into it like he was trying to do with Luffy.
Even now he still shares some of Luffy’s traits, he just knows when to get serious

Garp, Akainu, Aokiji and Smoker look like they would’ve gotten along as kids lol or atleast have been in the same clique
Aokiji and Akainu honestly look like they would constantly argue with each other, and Garp and Smokey would go on adventures
