Same! Dokidoki is honestly overhated, which is a shame since it's one of my favorite seasons! I get it doesn't have the most flashed out characters and I also don't really like Mana. But the Story telling, animation, Plot-twists and moral massages about the black and white spectrum of selfishness and selflessness, are all on poit!

From what I’ve heard the hate is mostly due to Cure Ace. I haven’t watched this season myself so I suppose I will have to judge for myself if it’s justified.
