Rep Mike Waltz's comment that the VA should have access to offer the full menu of treatments and services to our Veterans is absolutely correct. The number of homeless vets and those taking their lives due to PTSD or other issues is just not acceptable.
    I support their bi-partisan efforts.

I've been seeing lots if HOMELESS people walking around and wander if any of them were veterans. The local homeless shelter is too close to Liquor Store. Not a good combination. It just increases any likely they can get out of being homeless and getting back into a stable human being.

We need to see and hear more documentaries like this
It is time common sense starts ruling our society, but most definitely our government. These two hit the nail on the head. Bravo to them. Republicans and Democrats need to start joining forces instead of the behaviors and fingerprinting they are displaying. So THANK YOU to these 2 gentlemen. And the rest of them , sitting senators and congress...get over yourselves. Let's start putting the American people first and upfront!

My understanding is that someone decided to smear Donald Trump's reputation by attributing a nasty comment to him - without proof -that he actually said that. Knowing how the media works - using sensational lies (instead of reality with proof) to turn people against Donald Trump, i tend to believe he never said something so disrespectful. His history of respect for veterans & current service people does not support disrespect for patriotic Americans.
You have to think about who would benefit from such an outrageous attack vs. what a person's consistent public words & actions reveal, to help you choose what is most likely the truth...

I'm a veteran. I served in Vietnam. Still I have occasional nightmares, but just not as bad as they once were. What is so disappointing to me is that the USA has far, far too many who take every opportunity to belittle and curse what we vets did to give them that freedom. Without a drastic change coming to the USA, our hard fought for freedoms will disappear.

WWII was the last time that the US waged a war for the freedom or defense of the USA. We now wage wars for capitalist interests. Vietnam was never a threat to US national security or our freedom. We lost the war and it didn't even matter. It didn't contribute to the spread of communism and Vietnam is no longer even an enemy of the US. The Vietnam war was waged because they didn't want to be another exploited colony of the west. They were a threat to shareholders. We wage wars for bananas, tea and cheap labor.
Our own government is the biggest threat to our freedom.

Have the government provide an Immigration Specialist training program to train people to aid in this situation and for America to honor its word. Alaska took in 100 Afghan families, and HR Block did the majority of those W7's. I'm glad to say that I was part of that effort.

If they have money for beautiful facilities they better be able to help as many veterans as the costs of the buildings!

Telling the world that they’re fighting for the people…BS. We need to vote out many of them that been in the house to long. I thought that there is a law how many times they can run for Congress.

Yup. We need a mandatory service of at least a year. It'd stop people from being as cavalier about everything as they've gotten. We'd reinstill some respect for the flag, for the country, and for the freedoms we're afforded. Maybe then college students wouldn't be so quick to invite bad apples, ones who're only looking to disrupt our way of life because of how jealous they are of our freedoms.

😂😂😂 The so-called I love freedom wants to restricts people’s freedom of choice and speech. Number one. Justice Scalia ruled yes it’s protected speech to burn the flag. No one needs to respect it. Freedoms of today were not won because of military might it was because younger generations were brave enough to speak truth to power even when it was politically inconvenient and resulted in oppressive government sending police forces to beat protesters back into submission. Yet, people continued to fight for change. No one wants to fight in these wars and we are America not North Korea. What you’re calling for is for dictatorship and full blind support for government

Trump is someone that never honor a promise, even to protect and respect the US Constitution! This republican Senator is someone that is kissing the hand of Trump. Not trust his words!
