Don't know for sure, but a good use for it is if you ever visit japan at most tourist places you visit (shrines, events, etc.) there will be a stamp you can use to stamp whatever you want! I didn't do it while i was over there which i deeply regret because its just a good way to remember where you went without the pain of having to buy a souvenir!
