Omg this is like the first ive ever seen an indian in an American styled action john wick style movie ❤ this looks soo good and well made . Im definitely gonna see this ❤ and i recognize the main lead character from other movies but he looks so badass in this ❤
I feel like this could be the genesis for something big. Indians don't really have a superhero OUTSIDE of the Bollywood film industry. You can talk about Mowgli from The Jungle Book all you want but the truth is, Mowgli has never been considered an action hero person anymore than Hadji from Jonny Quest or Apu from The Simpsons are considered action heroes. Hadji is a little boy who wears a turban and Apu runs a shop in Springfield. In fact, to my knowledge, only Mola Ram from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom played by Amrish Puri comes to mind as being globally recognised, I'm betting MOST people around the world have watched Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom but I doubt most people have watched Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge or Mr India. Unfortunately Mola Ram plays a villain and not a hero. And what about Sayid from LOST? Well the actor who plays Sayid is Indian but the show's creators decided to make him Iraqi. Let's not forget LOST is just a TV show, not like LOST ever hit the big screen in movie theatres around the world. Yeah, Monkey Man looks like a solid movie, I only wish they hadn't called it Monkey Man for the obvious reason (an easy target for racists in the comment section). You could have called this movie literally anything and that's the film title you pick but whatever, it is what it is. I will watch said movie when it comes out.
What's next? The Walt Disney Pictures brand made a Southern English action about a hitman who seeks justice and revenge for the murder of his whole family. If they made one inspired by all-action films, it could be historic.
This guy is like East Indian John Wick lol
Was gonna say exactly the same
