- Hi lovelies, in this video I will be showing you how to recreate these Damask Peek-A-Boo Split Tumblers. The style of the split is based on the Boujee Baby split style tumblers by Flynn Sisters Boutique. It has been adapted for this design.
Two tumblers were being created simultaneously during this video. Colours for each tumbler are listed below individually.

I love your tutorials. I have only done two tumblers but both are very slightly tacky. I went over ideas but am clueless on how to fix these...

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that! When epoxy is slightly tacky it means it hasn't cured properly. As you probably know, epoxy is only safe for incidental food contact when it is properly cured. The most common reasons for epoxy not curing properly is it wasn't mixed at the proper ratio, it wasn't fully mixed, or it wasn't being cured in the right environment (heat, cold and humidity can play a factor, though usually it's one of the first two). Unfortunately, if any layer of epoxy doesn't properly cure, you can't just put another layer over top. Chemicals from that later can leech through other coats making it dangerous. If it isn't curing you will need to either fully remove the coat of epoxy (if you can) by sanding and cleaning, or you will have to strip it and start again 😞

One of my closest friends has a birthday next week and two of her favorite things are skulls and the damask pattern. So, I might be a bit of an overachiever, but I’m making this as my very FIRST tumbler. Thank you so much! I just pretty much finished making this one (minus the name and last coats of epoxy). I love it!
I did find putting down all those stripes and getting them straight to be quite the challenge. I finally put all 3 layers down on top of one another while they were flat on the backing paper and then just had to put down the one stripe on the cup and it was much easier to keep straight.
I'm glad you found a method that works for you! For me, I struggle more trying to layer it before applying to the tumbler. But I'm glad you tried other methods and found one :)
It’s so awesome! I never would’ve noticed it had a skull if hadn’t mentioned it & even then I had a hard time finding it so I wouldn’t call it a skull, it’s too pretty. Love the instructions.

This is the absolutely best tutorial I've ever seen. I love how you took everything step by step....Normally, if i see a video this long, I won't even watch it. I am so glad that I did. It is the first one I've seen of yours. But now I am going back and looking for whatever you've done. I love how you explain why you're doing each step. I love how you explained the propane over butane. I think it may explain why i have issues sometimes with bubbles. I have to go and find one of those torches..lol I would love to see how you reverse weed...I half way understand it but i would love to see how you do it. Utilizing the washi setting on your cricut is excellent information. i wonder if you hit the "more" button when cutting. And I am so amazed at how perfect your intricate cutting came out...mine will come out sometimes cut through and sometimes not...Thank you soooo much for doing these....

Hey Girl, I must have watched this video at least 4 times today and I'm sure I'll watch it a few more time when I finally try to make it for my first tumbler for my mother. My mother is very critical so it has to look good....not just good but perfect. I got 4 cups to try this...lol But I only have 1@ 30 .oz and 3@22 .oz. so I got time today boss and Imma get her dunn...lol. Seriously I don't normally say things like that but you excite me in the best way...NOT THAT...lol I love this video and I feel it's very well made, straight to the point and easy to understand. I'm so excited and it's 2:30 am but I took a break from the video to say this and to say hey girlll. Please for people like me that need that extra care you give with the videos, please keep up the good work.
