I can’t stop smiling throughout these wedding videos! What an incredible time! My partner and I are from the states but work in the Ecuadorian Amazon and I have always wanted to use our wedding as an excuse to get everyone we love down there to celebrate. I love it so much that the whole party was alcohol free. Most of the people connect having a good time especially with other people by drinking alcohol. They believe that it makes them open more, but I think that it numbs you from really connecting with this moment and the other people around you. If you fully trust to be enough by being yourself to habe fun, this is the most powerful think. So thank you so much for sending this message out to the world and also show your friends your true self by not serving alcohol and let them make this new experience too. I love you guys, you really remind me of my true self that I sometimes lose in this world. ❤️

Yes, this is a literal hell for introverts
Yes, to each one's own. However, while I'm happy to be civil to friends of friends, extended family, in-laws,etc. at celebrations,etc. I have to decide for myself over time on a case-by-case basis whether I genuinely like & have reason to believe the other person is trustworthy and has my best interests at heart before I would consider pouring my guts about my entire life,bio,etc. and consider them be my BFF. Therefore I'd have to pass on the whole 'if you REALLY knew me, you'd know that I. .' deal after being 'partnered' with a fellow guest.
It's so beautiful to have your friends and families come together and just enjoy life and your time together. I feel like the typical wedding is so stuck in tradition and in a mold in a way. We're starting to plan our wedding too and I just want everyone to have fun and not be so stiff and enjoy themselves and dance. Sometimes I worry about not being so traditional but it's also the way media made us in a lot of ways. Just gotta find your own ways rather than feeling like you have to obay all the traditions and societies norms.

I LOOOVE that you did no alcohol! I did that for my wedding too 😃. Some people were surprised, especially since my parents own a winery, but we just could not imagine having this heart-depressant chemical present for our sacred ceremony. So many friends still tell me that my wedding was the most magickal wedding they’ve ever been to.
