The thing with the Centurion Mk3 being uptiered to 6.7 is that it's the same vehicle as the strv 81, which is also at 6.7, without the advantage of the atgm.

Some people don't know about this but the slope on the roof of the tank is his biggest weakspot, I think the 5.3br t-34 can pen it, but of course bigger tank shells pen it easier. Also the hull is weak.
hey slick you should try the m48 patton with just the armor composite rounds haha or play tanks "stock" to let people see how even stock some tanks are still really good if you know how to play them.

The thing is every nation has a sweet Br or few op tanks. My problem is that gaijin seem to have a thing against the Brits that they keep taking away the sweet parts. First, they nerf the HESH for the sake of their beloved IS6, then the APDS post-pen effect, now it is the FV4202 br change.
Panther 2 is ruined
Why is that?
Personally i never got an oppurtunity to play the Panther 2 when it sat at 6.7. But i think it holds up quite well at 7.0. Now obviously, if i get uptiered in it then i will have a really bad time.

The stupidest thing about that change is that cent and fv now have the same br but higher repair cost than Caenarvorn

everybody uses APHE which will one shot you if it penetrates

This was a necessary change the fv is way to good to be at 6.3 its way better armored and has a way better gun than any of the other 6.3 mediums and it could honestly go to 7.0 without issue
Is there a guide anywhere for how to play certain tanks and which way? I'm just starting out and I get dicked on all the time ... T^T

Sad, we brits keep getting all the shit, no decent reverse gears (until later tiers) paper armor, nerfed apds (which was basically the bread and butter of 17pdr and above calliber guns), an uptier that makes a previous 6.3 fight a 7.7 maus...

Shatter Fox seems like they buffed the ferdi you used to be able to kill them from front easily an set them on fire from front hull hits ..but not anymore

Tiger 2 it’s easier but it’s still a really good tank.
And ofc i was grinding for this shit and they nerf its br :) always same scenario, ftl.
This tank has both the armour and the gun for 6.7. I do not believe the BR change was any kind of bad
armour is alright, the turret roof is easy to overmatch and below the gun is a fairly easy pen too, we dont really need to mention the hull(for the long 88 that is) But yeah, it was kind of insane at 6.3. 6.7 is a great place for it.

the same can be said about all british tanks at 6.7. Yet their guns are able to compete at 7.7. And on the note of bad armour, the object 120 has very bad armour. same with t34-85, American T25, and even the M26. No one complains about their BR, Infact they say the t34-85 needs a nerf or a BR change. Point being, many vehicles in warthunder do not get their BR by the armour they carry but the damage they output. Even at that, the armour of the FV4202 is still capable of deflecting shots even at close range (something I learned painfully yesterday)
t34 has random bounce chances and good speed, the t25 has aphe and speed and ok armor, and the object 120 has speed too unlike the fv
The T25 does not have speed on its side, especially when stock, and that armour is abysmal, anyone with an ok gun can go through its upper plate and turret. But I wouldn't compare speed as the british tanks are known not for that but for their deadly long range accuracy and great stabilizers at lower BR than other nations. Who needs speed when you can hit deadly shots on the move at mid and short ranges, and can kill anyone from afar almost without having to use a range finder. Plus you dont need to rush in, not when the enemy runs at you like chickens to the slaughter (especially the french, RU251 and the russian light and medium tanks)
Fv4202 wasn't op, sure the turret is bouncy but it's the same with the tiger 2 but is slower than the tiger and has bad hull, the only good thing is the stabilizer, gun, and turret armor, I rarely get a downteir like just 20% of my games and the rest are 7.7 against leopards and maus. The amount of people that keep complaining about British bias are the same kind of people that complain about British rockets that shouldn't pen a tiger 2 but it can since it has an armored warhead that can pen over 100mm, ffs it's like they want to seal clubb again, also the Germans and Russians have the tiger 2 and the is 2 mod 1944 and the t44, and the jadpanther at 6.3 but I don't see them getting up to 6.7 br, oh is it cause it has no stab just come on a lot of people are just anti british

Uses sabot shell to pen a tiger II's hull 1.5km away and turret cheeks that can stop 88mm cannon vs a tank with so little armour a wirbelwind can take out it's commander and gunner front on xD.
Name one war where we dumbed down our own equipment so it was fair for the enemy. War is not supposed to be fair, thats why you always build something better, you dont ruin it to be fair. Gayjin seems to like to ruin the entire idea of trying to progress to a better tank...which you cant if it is always "fair". No reason to get a better tank...stupid.

6.3 uptiered to 6.7, HESH nerfed to oblivion, APDS nerfed to oblivion, no APHE = cant deal with tanks like T95 or other armored tanks at distance, poor armor .... the only think we have is ok-ish AP and stabilizers ..... where do you see british bias ?? i dont see it anywhere

Michael it sounds like your the problem. Also Shermans are easy mode, stabiliser, APHE, .50cal, decent armor and decent mobility....... then theres the Jumbo's which u can troll in (except against the 85mm russian guns).
