thanks for the video and honest review! as I've checked on reverb, ltd ec-1000 all are now around 900 - 1200 eur, so I think I will go with this HB in white + zakk wylde emg set can you give more info please on how it happens with the thomann customer service - did they offer you to change the guitar or just proposed a discount? asking because I'd prefer to change in case of tilted neck I already have one CST-24HB Deluxe and its really beautifully done, I like it better then my gibson les paul studio
Great choice I must say white colour + zakk set is badass! To my experience the Thomann's customer service is great and when I had problems (in the past with another guitar where the pickup selector was broken) they offer me to change with another or a coupon of 30€ to spent on the website. They responds very quickly. For this guitar in particular I can't change it because was a B-stock and when you purchase you accept that the instrument maybe have some scratches or production defects and you can't claim basically. Never tried a CST but I see it's a great copy of a PRS 😉
@@StevenPerrone thanks for advices, I got both - white guitar and zakk set, no problems so far, but i must say i’m kinda confused cause it already sounds killer 😃 even without zakk set installed the only problem i have though - hbz setup is messing up with my wireless set, so i use only cable with this guitar, maybe emg will not have that problem or maybe foiling the internals would help anyway really happy with this purchase :) thanks again
@@louddude anytime! Yeah the difference from Hbz and EMGs are not night and day but you know in the long run you are sure that the EMGs will be always ok in every situation like gigs, studio recording, amp tests and so on 😉 I used to have a sehnseiser wireless kit and with EMGs in my Ltd Eclipse never had a problem, can't speak for the Harley Benton though
Excellent review. May i know if the model u got is made in Vietnam or Indonesia? Been seeing mixed reviews on the QC like nut issues, fretwork, binding on the earlier model issues. Otherwise it sounds great for the price
thanks a lot man! For my experience with Harley Benton the only guitars that have have a tracciability based on serial numbers are from Indonesia and partially in Vietnam. This model has no SN anywhere so I suppose is made in china like every guitar in this price range. QC in general is ok with Harley Benton and if you have some issue you can return the guitar and they send you another one.
