Anyone notice how much he’s talk and is open now? Go back years when this show first started and this man was quite. We all new he was a genius in the woods but seeing him talk to huck, laugh and all. Really is nice to see a fella finally open up!
Mark is a true mountain man and what a hunter, ever see the notches on his rifle?
What ever happened to the first guy I forget his name I remember it was was this dude and the other guy
Marks the really deal moonshiner.
@@njd4291 it’s called conversation son, these are mountain boys they speak there mind
Money will do that to a person
Mark is one of those rare people who are content with their life and just makes the best of things. He reminds me of my best friend, everyone needs a friend like mark.
murder the fish brutal ! with a stick wtf ....normal u cut the fish that the fish feels no pain ....
I know plenty of ppl like Mark….you must not be from the South ?
I feel like Mark and Huck are the most authentic of all the moonshiners on the show, they get you really immersed.
Watching them fellas eat made me go about my day thinking of making me some fish and chips
Huck's voice and accent resembles Billy Bob Thornton.
They’re definitely the most underrated pair, Henry and Kenny are also super underrated
Real mountain men.
I like all the moonshiners but Mark's my favorite. He's a pure mountain man.
A real hill billy
And a stand up guy!! I guarantee you if one of his friends or neighbors needs anything he’s always right there willing to help, and wouldn’t take there money if they tried to pay him, might make trade or something though at most…
I absolutely love Mark Rogers. I love the episode of him just packing a limited amount of survival items to keep his survival skills sharp. If I were in a survival situation I would most definitely want to be in it with him. He's my single favorite and mark and digger are my favorite pair. I love the way they talk to each other lol! Puss and baby man or Hattie boy lol
i had a friend like him when i was in high school. His parents owned a huge construction company and lived out in the woods in a nice huge house with heated floors but my friend always would rather camp outside in the woods. He would come to the house for food then go right back out.
I like all of the guys because they seem like simple genuine people city people are becoming worse than covid😢
Marks my favorite too, if the grid did go down he would living perfectly fine enjoying life, while everyone else is running around trying to buy everything, and going crazy…. Mark and Huck are two great guys and make a dam good pair…
Give a man a fish and he eats good for a day, teach him how to fish and he'll eat good for a lifetime. The knowledge just from this simple video can be so impactful for someone who might not have known.
Amen brother. Nothin beats a good fish fry on open wood fire, love it.
Holy cow I haven't heard that saying since my grandmother!! Thanks
@@WolfgangHood8404FMF hey do you like red salmon try chignik Alaska red salmon u'll love it brother!
Teach a man how to hunt and he'll feed the whole family
My dad would make us stop fishing cause the freezer was so full lol I miss them days along the gulf of Mexico
Lmfao the older guy in the end catching fish with his hands is awesome.. I can listen to him all day he needs to get a camera and youtube page
That's mark and he's only 44 or 45 he said

Lmao isn't that normal? 😂

um that’s definitely normal
It's not that deep bro

As a kid my dad used to take me into the Ozarks where my mom's family lived. I learned how to hunt, fish, fight, and love in those woods. It's the simple moments like this, just hanging out with a buddy eating fish that mean the world to me. No amount of money can buy you the happiness and bliss of a simple moment like this.
Did you ever meet the Byrde family in the Ozarks?
@@Kwisatz_HaderachXIII I went to school with a girl name Lauren Byrde, and her sister. But those were the only Byrde's I knew

This clip was so cozy lol, I felt like a kid in our outdoors classes, shit was some of the best
Just an great American History. Love them Moonshiners. Wa. State loves you folks. Down to earth. Plus you can learn something new every show. School can't teach that good
Wa state here to I love this show. School wouldn't ever teach this stuff to you.
Your best friend, good food, good liquor and plenty of hard work deep in nature. I honestly can't think of anything better.
Yea honestly I'm young and even I think technically is overrated
I enjoyed watching him catching and cooking the fish this guy is awesome
Call me ignorant if you like, but it just occurred to me there are different parts of the world that may never get to experience the pure joy of being in the smoky mountains or the Appalachia mountains, and just be out in the woods.
Yea some people never seen why we call em smoky mountains sure is pretty.
this is the wholesome thing ive seen today
Nothing like criminals sharing a meal
Mark can survive in any situation.
Mark is such a good friend to have
I love the sub titles on this. I’m southern so I can understand it but his accent is so thick I can see why people need it.
Reminds me so much of my grandfather. Miss him so much.
Huge moonshiners sticker on the back window hauling gallons of illegal liquor 🤔🤔🤔🤔
That a Einstein moment!!! Tickle not drunk & not in middle of that brite idea. That speak for its self. Tickle do know better. Gomer Hey Gomer Pyle. Just drive to jail cut out middle of Barney Fife busy time on this deal . LMAO.
That’s not the truck they use to bootleg, they use an unbranded SUV, unless your carrying likker, you can brand yourself a moonshiner all you want, it’s only illegal if your carrying
They all have legal liquor licenses and make the shine in the woods for the show an dramatize it
@@TOXIC-DANG3R901 your right the show is dramatically enhanced but off show despite being legal likker makers they still make moonshine
@@TBlacky you say that like it doesn't attract attention. Its like having big rims and crazy paint job on your car when you're a drug dealer. Advertise it and authorities will take notice.
I love that emphasis on the word fish when he says it....sounds funny & cool.

I love how resourceful people can be ♡
Mark and Huck could survive a Zombie Apocalypse. Makin moonshine and catching fish
And for the zombies, I’d say that neither one is a stranger to a rifle either.
Marks the best on the show. Down to earth nice guy.
I'm impressed with his catching trout by hand. They have big sharp teeth. I would have slapped the pool of water with a club to stun them. And who else besides me loves his old mountain cooking pan?
Big sharp teeth? Sigh.
You joking dude?
Lol
The coolest moonshiner ever! Love Mark Rogers.
Melinda Lawley
Amazed!!!
I love Ol' Timers.🙏🏾
I don’t know why I enjoy these videos so much
wow. that pan is actually really cool
I would absolutely love to come across a pan like that!! Very useful and easy and compact to carry…
Mark is so inspirational without even trying 😂
So true! I remember I think it was Mark, Jeff, and lances first or second session on moonshiners and they did a show at the end of the session with all the other moonshines, at a old cabin I think and the guy from discovery channel was going over fans favorite segments of the show and he told mark he was the person who actually brought camouflage back in style Lol…. There was some truth to that actually since that’s all mark ever wheres, but it did seem like everybody did start wearing more camouflage after that Lol…
He's a savage of a fisherman
Mark is awesome, those trout look slammin, thats a great survival trick to know..
Living Legends doing what they know best ✊🏽- slowly but growing youtuber 👋🏽
I've been waiting for a new season of moonshiners
They a dang good team, like Mark n Digger. You can get a lot done when you got a good team.
Grew up with some damn good ole boys like this in Kentucky my whole life. Don't need nothing but some liquor and a good meal to keep em happy. That's living right there
Way to be undercover when the back of your truck says Mississippi moonshiners 🤣🤣 the show is more comedy than anything LOL
"Cant keep running up to the store for food" - spends most of the work day catching and preparing fish
Exactly too much acting
Not the time it's the traffic
If you listened to it you’ll find that the store is along way and the traffic is booming, and if they were to leave the still the fire would burn out n the effeminacy will drop a lot. Y’all gotta start using your ears 👂
Going in and out of a site increases your odds of being spotted
Best part is that little ass creek couldn’t even support those trout unless they were stocked meaning they aren’t far away from civilization
Best duo of the show
How that man says Fish....it just fucking soothes my soul.
Then he cracked off Engine! 🤣
Why the fuck does he have subtitles by the way.
Feeeeesh lol
It's subtitles because this is Discvovery UK they can't understand him. Only we can
That trick that man did to catch fish was fucking genius. Never thought of that.
They speaking facts this is a life lesson on how to survive with a simple life

Mark and huck are the best
You know while most of us see simple not highly educated people, I personally see people who understand and value friendship and loyalty. So how uneducated are they really? Cause 90% of people I met don't even know the word loyalty

That fish and chips look 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I had no idea you could skin trout like that good to know
I’m British and this is the most stereotypical American thing I have ever seen 😂
Haha this is the south and the middle. Only about 30% of the county is like this.
Man - that seriously looks amazing. Best brook trout i've ever seen. We usually cook em on the bbq. The batter he made looks incredible.
Jerry was not only a racecar driver , but a moonshiner as well.

this wholesome if only everybody was like this.
I used to carry a small cast iron skillet, seasoned flour, butter, and eat fresh caught trout on a little fire beside the creek. Nothing better, peaceful, and beautiful then that. Good times! You bleed them by cutting their gills and I’d break their necks too. Made some mighty fine eating. Same with salmon. King, coho, and pinks. The coho were always my favourite ones though.
Mark and Huck are my favorite Moonshining duo...
In England this is our signature food. Cod and chips with scraps
Mark is a man's man, ain't he?
Lol I've got a moonshiner's with the name of the company sticker on the back of my truck. Oh ok.

“The Indians used to build traps like this years ago” 😂
@@andrewhighwrestling8999 Guess he was laughing because Indians isn't the correct term for what the guy meant - Indians live in India, not in the US.
The guy was talking about native americans which are sometimes called american indians as well. Might come across as a little detail for some people, but it sounds very stupid for everyone else.
I mean they did go.
Trout is delicious
Idc I love smart clean people
Mark really from Australia 🤣🤣🤣
I love your show I love moonshiners
Those were stocked trout.
Its a show man. Lol
That fish trap Mark made really works. I am 77 years old and used it to catch fish when I was a kid and even used that system to catch fish in Vietnam. I was infantry in the central highlands with thousands of streams and creeks. The two trout did look a little big for mountain stream trout. I watch Naked and Afraid and these so called survivalist's will be in a situation where that fish trap would supply them with food for the 21 days and all they do is say is, "I wish we could catch some of those fish. Apparently they don't teach that trap at survival school.
You know they Stock NC Mtn streams with 10,000's of Trout every year right?? He never said anything about Wild Trout, there's Wild Trout too.
@@nicke1903 But if you have any experience fishing rivers and creeks, you'd understand that large fish like the ones shown here wouldn't survive in a 4' wide creek. There may be minnows and 4-5" fry, but nothing substantial because there wouldn't be enough food and most of that water isn't deep enough for them to swim in. They'd get stuck in a pool and starve to death very quickly. Don't believe everything that you watch on TV. It'll make you sound foolish :b.

Going out on his own was the best idea Mark had when he was working with the father and son he was more losing money than anyting plus having to split profits three ways instead of just two
I agree! That was when Lance wanted to make that absinthe against his dads and Marks advice, but after spending all that time and money then Both Jeff and Lance couldn’t even give the absinthe away it was so bad… I’m pretty sure that had alot to do with Mark going on his own completely…. But unfortunately Lance died two or three years after that… I know that had to about kill Jeff when he died… Rip Lance…
We can definitely learn something from these gentlemen. I would love simple life, to have a good life.
If an English person was asked to describe a stereotypical American this is what we would describe
@BxxDxx Hoodoo stereotypes are based off of first order approximations
