That snake was a Philippine pit viper. Green morphs of the species are common Palawan. And yes, they're venomous. But like other Southeast Asian pit vipers, their bites can have severe symptoms but are rarely lethal (though they can be).

You speak with people on your travels about what country you’re going to next etc and it’s all fun but as soon as you mention the Philippines, if that person has already been, you’re going to know about it! I haven’t met anyone yet who hasn’t been ridiculously excited to share their stories about the place. Everyone has so much energy, enthusiasm and sheer passion for it…I cant wait to get there in a few months!

Dude, I'm really glad to see El Nido hasn't changed much. I went back in 2014 and through a lot of research, found El Nido. It was so far above anything I could have expected, a true gem. Nacpan beach, or as it's also called: Twin Beach, was really just surreal. They weren't renting out lawn chairs when I was there, but I feared it would be worse. Thanks for the update amigo!

Been traveling for 3 months in SE-Asia, wandering around mostly planless and just taking everyday as it comes. When i came to nacpan i really felt like this is how it should be, gorgeous blue water, long white beach and a sunset that hits between the little island and the beach. Paradise. This is one of the best beaches ive ever set my foot on. In this moment writing this im at Bali, anyone else thats abroad? Where is everyone?

I like the mountains. Ifugao, Mountain Province just as much as the beaches. You can swim in waterfalls and do amazing hikes. Check out my footage of Sagada.
Since you like really isolated beaches, would you please go to Babuyan Islands in the north and make video of it? Only a few are posted on RUclips. I was always mystified by it as a kid growing up in the Philippines. Thanks in advance!

Even the little hill(s) at Nacpan are no longer accessible. The hills belong to a private owner now and they're planning to develop it into a resort.
