I'm making a spas 12 (cardboard) and I was searching all over the internet for a shell ejecting tutorial. I finally came across one that's simple to make, thank you so much!

First of all, your honesty is admirable. Not a lot of people can just be honest with themselves. Second of all it's easier for others to make something simple rather than something complex so your method is preferable.

Could a possible solution to the mag tube problem be to make the lever not raise all the way up? If you make the max height that the lever that flicks the shells up be lower, would that not block the shells from falling out of the tube, but still have enough free rotation in the lever to flick the shells out of the gun? That's just my quick analysis. Your creations are ingenious though, good work as always.
I have tried that in the past actually! The problem unfortunately was, since it went not as high, the shells, barely made it out the ejection port

Ta3om6n how about putting a lip at the end of the lever to block the shell? Angle it so it is parallel with the butt of the shells when the pump is racked back and that way you can block the shells, while still having enough rotation in the lever to eject the shells properly. Yeah there will be a lip sticking out of the bottom of the gun, but its worth the sacrifice.
Funnily enough again, i have indeed used that method actually, in my M1897 trench gun build XD
It does indeed work! but, i think to use it effectively, stiffer materials would have to be used

Why not go and use a pez puller and some marker caps modified it and use the mechanism on that and experiment

Wait, what type of glue is perfect for securing cardboard? Like I've used glue gun, not neat, I've used superglue, it for some reason won't stick, so I'm lost for glue....

Which one spinning one or opening one bc if u talking how to make 1 open get and cut 2 cardboard circles and roll a piece of cardboard up choose the revolver u wanna make screenshot it sketch it out on cardboard cut all pieces out tape cylinder on the gun not whole cyclinder just 1 lil piece and then Baku have a revolver with an opening cylinder
