This What If proves that in season 3 & the beginning half of season 4, Tory was a selfish, heartless, idiotic, vile & horrible person. I'm glad she finally got character development. This is not an insult to the Tory character, just to how she responded to things in season 3.
What If Sam Became Hawk?
In some ways, I could see Sam becoming Hawk as a way of her showing frustrations with Miyagi-Do, the "self defense ONLY" philosophy and Daniel's inability to see any other style as having any merits.
What if Moon and Yasmine joined Miyagi Fang
What if Demetri or Hawk fought Kyler and his gang in the cafeteria during S1
What if Tory broke Sam's arm in the arcade
What if Daniel's fishing trip never helped Sam overcome her PTSD

Then kyler would have to deal with Shawn and his friends and they would beat him up in juvie
Kyler's parents have money and could afford a good lawyer, so he MIGHT be able to beat the rap, or just get a slap on the wrist.
Personally, I'd prefer he wound up in juvie, where Shawn would waste no time making him his bitch.

@@justinsabath8536 It would have been too convoluted if all of the main Cobras joined Miyagi-Do then, not to mention Mr. Miyagi scoffed at the idea of having lots of students.
Bobby I could easily see, as he really never fit in with Kreese's "No Mercy" philosophy and would have left even if Kreese didn't snap on Johnny.
Johnny NEEDED someone like Mr. Miyagi in his life after Kreese snapped on him, but losing the approval of the only father figure he'd ever had was traumatic enough that he just crawled into a bottle instead. If he'd had a steadying influence like Mr. Miyagi in his life, things would have turned out a lot better for him. That and I don't think he was ready to be in a dojo with "Ali's new boyfriend".
Tommy might have, but I also think he was loyal to Johnny (he joined Cobra Kai because of him) and might not have done it without him. Jimmy might have as well.
I think Snake and Dennis were too loyal to Silver to go with Miyagi-Do. I was disappointed we didn't see them in S5.
It would be very hard for any of the Alpha Elite to join Miyagi-Do in TNKK, given that they're in Boston and he lives in CA. However, if it were available, I could easily see Eric joining.
