thanks for the video! even though it would be just for me, i was undecided on a 10 or 13 ft. i think i will go with the 13 footer. i also get a kick out of the term "glamping", as i am sure you do too, because anyone out there in a tent is roughing it, pure and simple. The amenities might be far better, but c'mon, it's not like a half million dollar RV or 5th wheel or something.
I have the 13, and use it for bird hunting with a couple of dogs. We can do two cots with the stove if we push it and don’t use the Kennels but works best when I’m out alone with one cot and the Ruffland kennels to make a table. Will have to try the idea of eliminating the door tripwire. Thanks for your review.
I've been trying to find out if I could have two cots in there for a camping trip I wanted to set up to go with my dad. My dad's getting up in age so it's hard for him to sleep on the ground. So thanks for mentioning the 10' or 3m is not large enough for two cots. I appreciate it.👍
Just ordered mine the other day, get it today! 10ft white duck with ramen noodles! Lol! Wonder how ill put that duck in my ramen bowl.... All joking aside, i ordered it in od green, color delivered by fedex today from salt lake. Ill see how my M1941, multi fuel tent stove fits in it. Uses either gasoline, diesel, wood or coal. I like using liquid fuel, because i can adjust the heat temperature. From 1 to 7 on gasoline, or 1-9 with diesel. WE USED DIESEL all the time back in my army days.
You can fit 2 cots. You just have to situate the stove the right way. You'd have a ton more space in this situation specifically if you turn your stove 90 degrees. It'd open alot of floor space up.
I have one and if you get creative with organization of gear and sleeping arrangements 3 adults (normal sized) or 2 adults and 2 kids are doable without being cramped (and that’s with a stove)
Nice review! I have the same tent and I am looking at getting the megamat 10 aswell, what size megamat 10 do you have, the Regular Wide: 72.1 x 25.6 x 3.9 inches or the Long X-Wide: 77.6 x 30.3 x 3.9 inches? Thanks in advance
I haven’t had issues.. but I would think it would turn black or white.. you HAVE TO dry asap when you get back .. doesn’t take long. Always dry your gear
@@rickstarReviewsHuntFish have you tested it in the rain yet? and did you season it when you first got it (with a quick water hose spray and let dry)???
Great review, hope you were successful with your hunt
Great video. I ordered the same tent. Ordered the same stove. I also have a heavy-duty army heat floor pad. Excellent review. Thanks

I’d go bigger.. crazy experience few months ago, tent saved my life from a widow maker.
Nice review, especially about the front pole!
Great review buddy! Really nice setup. Definitely the way to "Smooth" it. Good luck with the Coyote hunt!

I have the 13ft w/stove and gear and I call it a One person tent, a great tent for what I do. The old man in the mountains said that...
If you drill a hole in the table could you have another cot?

I got the regular size
Thanks, I thought I could fit 2 adult and 2 dogs in there.
is it harder to detect mold on the green one?

Use a fan
@@rickstarReviewsHuntFish i am going to buy one im just worried about packing it away properly etc.

Solid in the rain.. even saved me from a good sized widow maker..
What size of cot do you have .
I believe that’s the small Teton sports one
I have the XXL Teton so I didn’t know if it would fit in this size of tent or if I should go for the 13 foot White duck. .
I would definitely go with the 13
The xxl would fit but give you less room I think
@@rickstarReviewsHuntFish thank you
