This is the gospel music that is leading a lot of the youth back into the churches and old tent revivals. Don't get me wrong, I love the old hymn book gospel songs. And have a 100 favorites.. But, I think God is pleased that gospel groups like Ernie Haase and Signature Sound are getting the word of God out there in the words of their music and the youth are ready to listen to our Lord Jesus Christ. .. Makes me happy and lifts my spirit...

My late husband, Mark listened to this group all the time. I listened to Vestal and The Happy Goodman's. I finally was going through my late husbands laptop to see all the groups he listened to. I am now one of Errnie Hasse and Signurture Sound. I love them I want to be in one of their concerts.

@96ColdFire Those are monitors. They are much more effective than the speaker monitors because they block out all reverb and background noise. The singers hear only the musicians, themselves, and each other. The volume settings in the ear pieces are adjusted to fit each singers' needs. It gives them the freedom to move around the stage and still accurately hear what they need to.
I love this group and this bunch of guys. They have fun and don't look at it as a job, purely as entertainment. Doug connected great with Tim in this video. A lot better and more than I have seen in other videos.

Se alguém conhece o Ernie Haase, mostrem esse comentário pra ele. Eu admiro muito os cantores baixos gospel, aqui no Brasil temos muitos, mas eu pego referência dos baixos americanos, e tento imitar os graves deles. @logik316 God does appeal to the mind and spirit; music is one avenue He uses. No where are we taught that Christians are supposed to be a bunch of dead bumps on a log. Too many people get hung up on the type/style of music and ignore the message. I've attended an EHSS concert as well as watched their videos; believe me, God is using these guys. Anyway as birdengames pointed out, this is Southern Gospel, not rock and roll, a huge difference.

@logik316: It could be that you are having a personal conviction not to listen to this music, and if you do, by all means don't do it. God knows far better than us, and his convictions are always perfect, yet I feel this is a case similair to the Romans where Paul wrote to in his letters concerning the food laws. Notably Romans 14.
These men have excellent musical and performance talent. But I've personally always felt that God is a being who appeals to the mind and spirit. Rock and roll is the Devil's music, and should not be allowed to be mixed with one's faith.
@3811keith Sir they are excited that they have the privilege to sing and proclaim God's truth and if you are judging them by there passion are you not a hypocrite does it not say in Matthew "do not judge or you will be judged" and since you have judged God will judge you and you do not want that. I do not wish to bicker like a child just to show you the truth in which it is OK to be passionate about proclaiming God.
And I bet you believe that we should clothe ourselves in sackcloth and ashes. You probably think we should just be in constant mourning in our lives. I also bet you use the Holy Spirit to demean and bring down a person because they are not "Sanctified" enough for you. People like you are the reason people are leaving the Church in droves. Jesus came so we could have life more abundant, but you would rather steal joy just because you want to wear a scowl on your face permanently
