I really like the tone here overall. Far more appropriate than Snyder's solemn portrayal of the character. I would admit, though, that the Man of Steel outfit was far superior. With that, they perfectly captured the simplicity. This outfit still appears overly crowded and puffy. Despite my liking for the return of the red pants.
You can still see some Snyder inspiration in supes. You can tell Gunn did his homework and is trying to get the best of the character on screen cinematically.

Lex looks like Hitman Agent 47 especially with that gun.Looks like they are definitely going have that one day they love him and the next day they hate him vibe in the movie. The romantic moments look official and the action looks clean. The music by John Murphy is a blend of the 1978 and 2013 Superman films IM IN !!!!

Humans who don't read Superman comics, have no idea how he's supoosed to be, the movies have been messing him up, and it breaks my heart. He def hit or miss but his overall pen game on point. He has always known how to tell a good story, it's the "jokes" that don't always hit or when he puts too much music, but before he was a director he was always a good writer with some classics under his belt.

Just the first impression I had, and I hope that's not how the film turns out. I dislike the way Guy looks.
Superman is bright he isn’t dark like Batman. As a Batman fanatic I enjoyed Henry cavil Superman, but seeing this trailer I felt that Superman is back to his original depiction like the original cartoons and has a Christopher reeves fill. Dont like how Guy Gardner looks though 😒

Done rewatched it thuuty times already.😂 It probably says Luthorcorp because that may not be earth one. Theres speculation that Ultraman is in this, opening up the door for multiple earths as a baseline in Gunns DCU.

Let me think James gun does has this weird aesthetic on low-budded aesthetic to it. He comes from tramaville man. You know he comes from that. You know that TV type you know b-movie environment so he a lot of that is in his work. It's a very like you can see it in his aesthetics. It was in Galaxy and the guardians of the Galaxy. It was in peacemaker a work for peacemaker cuz it was a comedy. But when you done something like so supposed to be serious like Superman it, it looks weird that his his framing the color. The color schemey pics. It's like that doesn't work. Man, I don't know you know what I'm saying. It works if it's a comedy or light-hearted movie or something like that. But when you're trying to do a heavy thing I don't know it just comes off. It's very odd and weird like that. Crypto scene just looks very strange and out of place. You know what I'm saying. Some of the powers look very like cheaply done. I don't. It feels like a episode of like. I don't know Lois and Clark and they were back Superman and Lois and their stuff. The special effects in that show was horrible but it was better than this. This looks kind of weird man.
