Is that one of the$10,000 ones? I had an 81-82 reissue ones, I think, because I gave$500 in 82. WOYOY did I sell it.
Plug 'em in!
I always was more a fan of the Gibson guitars, where you could see The woodwork of the skilled Luthiers that they have working for them... as opposed to..."Paint".. I don't know, it just seems like woodwork is more impressive than "paint"
Unless it's a black or a white Les Paul.. I don't know maybe I'm biased
If non fancy wood makes for cheaper guitars I’m all in. The crime is keeping cool paint colors behind a custom shop paywall 😤
At Gibson work skilled Luthiers? I doubt someone learn years the art to end up in an assembly or build line on a CNC at Gibson lol
you've created a time paradox
Price on the aged gibson v what wow
I noticed you like back chords. Its what I call them.
And of course, the Iommi guitar was NOT a true recreation of his SG Special, yet they still sold them for 20K a piece. Great job Gibson, great job. 👍🖕
Can you review a tone master deluxe reverb
This may be a rookie-level question but, how do you know that your pickups are out of phase?
They sound nasal and quacky.
Words are bad at describing sounds, but once you hear it, it's very obvious, it's not a subtle thing.
@@PaulCooksStuff Thanks for the explanation. Just out of curiosity: is there any situation where out of phase pickups are desirable?
@@nsp477 Some players like the option. Peter Green famously had out of phase pups on his Les Paul. Brian May has reverse phase switches on his red special. Some models offer it as a switchable option, but it's thin squawky and pretty weird sound is usually an aftermarket wiring mod on mainstream models.
@@PaulCooksStuff Thanks again; I had no idea. Will look further into it.
Your new name, Captain Korina
White Limba (Korina) has no restrictions currently.
I see no historical or player love really.
Famous wood because of the V and Explorer????
Select mahogany is best for guitars. Average Mahogany makes good pine look good....
Knowledge just seems to rule, right????
Who is Adam Jones???
Silver burst ? Doesn’t look silver ...not sure why but like them... seems boring to me
TROG; Can you do a show on whether or not people are playing these insanely priced guitars? Dammit you are killing me with these expensive items
Sure. It's people with mansions and 3rd and fourth houses.
Maybe corrupt politicians?
Or CEOs of companies
Oh wow that is why the pickups sounded like mud all the way around.
Just what is such the big deal about these, other than guitar flippers must love it.
@@johnnyola2205 No doubt, wait a decade or two when all these stupid Relic Jobs, Fender included are going to try and be marketed as near full price. I just do not see value in thier demos or the Relics. At least Fender Stamps thiers Relic in the cavaties, I do not know about Gibson. Try to find a non Relic Fender Custom Shop or a Gibson non relic Custom Shop. It is the times of the Custom Relic Shop. Its a real turn off to shop for a Custom Shop guitar now a days and 98 percent of the choices are all these relics where they want you to pay more the more beat up they are. LOL but I guess there is a market now, I do not see the Relic market in twenty years from now still being alive.
Black guard V, for me. I'll trade for the LP version when it comes out. Poor Lovell, you'd think last on checks would be plug and play. First thing on Gibson application: Can you play a G chord?!! Ü♥♫
😆
I don't want any new guitar enough to pay 18 grand for it. Not many I'd pay 10 grand for.
Like the 330
Cheers
Sick guitars in this one! With the possible exception of the Slim Harpo, not too sure about that one....
Wasn't there an entire pallet of those Adam Jones guitars that was STOLEN?! I predict some of those will slip into the market before too long!
No...no...not again...noooo!!😆😆
With P90 pickups do they need to be out of phase for noise cancelling?
I would think yes, but not always.
No. You can do RWRP (for hum cancelling) without out of phase.
Cant we hear this new V??
Those cases = disaster
Adam Who?....
@@johnnyola2205 😂
Gibson strikes again....
Shitty output jack = YOU DID GET TWO DUDS IN A ROW.
2 mishaps on the same model?!
Gibson better send something special to compensate our boy.
It still baffles me how much hate Adam gets from boomers who haven't listened to anything released after 1985. People in these comments acting like Tool is some no-name garage band, its hilarious
Well, at least you were playing an authentic Gibson... smh... QC seems to be sliding again.
" That's just the way the market is " The Market is that way because of Greed.
was that your dog barking or mine......
