Shit!! I haven't heard this song or even him from the early 90's lol, damn all these years I've been all over the place in things to do and even other music to listen too,It brings me back fond memories of my youth. In my own humble perspective to me it was really sub culture trendy in those days and not everybody had dreads either lol, but that was fresh and genuinely hip! If you get me you know what I'm talking about if you were really listening and being a part of it,especially underground stuff was live nuff times!!.. Mainstream culture at that time hasn't sucked all yet but hip hop esthetics,which ironically derives from american/jamaican influenced earlier dancehall rhythms & styles,was getting always more and more air waves or attention in the media. Anyways,Ya Beres Hammon,Tenor Saw,Frankie Paul ,Jack Radics(here),Sanchez, Shabba Ranks really blew everything wide open again tho at least in a sense since Bob Marley and lastly even King Yellow did! Luciano and Buju Banton that came out as well and a favorite of mine was also Garnett Silk,sadly remembering him passing away tragically..100% Silk was my favorite LP from him too..I can't believe we're old now and this stuff is still cool today,even a gem by today's standard of pop culture!! To all the people my generation,BIG UP!! :) 💪✌
