I believe they are pre-recorded), so only having one person on each harmony is going to make it sound funky no matter what when you compare it to the soundtrack or an actual performance of the show.

So glad the show is finally licensed by Samuel French and can be performed by colleges and community and regional theaters etc. Yeah!
