I was in a sociology class and also a medical class and both identified me as an empath. I’m learning to use discernment better and better. My spirituality has helped with that a lot as well.

Good Evening Bishop & Lady Blakes! Everyone! God’s Blessings
Good evening Bishop RC Blakes. I think when the Lord Jesus told us to guard your heart was to help everyone, but was also to help the empathic people who feel mostly with their compassion towards others. The Lord does say flee from evil. My understanding is when one finds out someone is a narcissist or toxic person we need to guard our heart then flee from being around such people. The Lord tells us to think on good things, & we need to control what enters our minds. Anything hurtful, depressing, sorrow, not good is not from our Lord. (Philippians 4:8) Whatever is in a man/woman so is he/she. We need to control our minds, & protect it from being controlled by evils. Prayer, and discernment from our Lord is our only guard from such evils. Thank you for the video. May peace be with everyone always.

How can you set boundaries with others to prevent emotional overload?
I’m guilty of that, pleasing ppl first and I do get side tracked by that. Eye opening & Self reflection.
