Adnan Syed being released now is incredible. It's been 8 years since the Serial Podcast shed light on the serious problems with his conviction, I never thought they would finally admit they messed up.

Fun fact: There was 54 pages worth of grand jury material seized from the Lanza home. It is currently unknown what the material was (whether it was documents, physical evidence or both) or what case it was related to.

I absolutely love what the civies did in helping the cop. They didn't stand around yelling at the cop...they didn't stand there and film it with their phones...they were REAL men and good citizens. 👏👏👏

When Gary ridgeway made a deal with the prosecutors to plead guilty, the first thing they did was to make him show them the location of the bodies. In the Adnan case, the girl had been missing, nobody knew where she was. Jay wildes, the man who claimed Adnan did it, took the police to the body! He was the one who implicated Adnan. Any innocent man, when confronted with this, would infer that jay did it. Sayed instead asked that the police look for other suspects. Meanwhile somehow a podcaster convinces people that he is innocent because of flimsy evidence regarding cell phone towers ? A man took the police to the body! You bloody true crime fools ! Either Adnan or jay did it, I believe Adnan was the one. This is a case where are murderer walked free because of people wanting to believe conspiracy theories.

Thank you law and crime channel. This is by far the strangest torts case I have ever studied and we will never hear the end of this one. It seems to me AJ is paying for the alleged slander perpetrated by thousands of people against the entire sandy hook shooting incident.

No one cares if he apologizes, just that he pays up.

It’s about time Adnans conviction was overturned. I remember watching this on dateline more than 10 years ago. He should have been released then. Such a tragic situation all around.

I think Jones’ legal counsel needs to explain to him that the Joe Rogan podcast isn’t a legal institution.
