I really appreciate that you are taking the RC Powers concept of simple very maneuverable planes for park scale but with 3D print EDF designs that look scale - Looking forward to more designs. SU57 and harrier are holy grail ;) keep up the good work sir.
The last two triangular pieces you glued at the end on either side of the exhaust nozzle are not chaff dispensers, they’re airbrakes. Great job Kyle!! Looking forward to dloading this one too 😊🤙🏼
That's a beautiful work of art, I can't wait to see it with a 70 or a 90mm fan especially considering how well it works with a 50mm fan, call me crazy but I'm thinking that would be a new record setter on the GPS for speed and slow flight
You make it look so easy , I have struggled with one plane it is worth of being built , YRF-4E , 62-12200 . One of a kind phantom jet ....with canards ? The grandfather of fly by wire , a test bed for future aircraft. Only 3D printing will do it justice .... take a look at the plane think about it ...
Another Great design and awesome flyer. I appreciate the build videos as well, not sure if it’s been mentioned in your other videos but do you have a preference brand of LW-PLA you use on all your models and can any of the Available brands purchase on Amazon work with similar results? If so which brand specifically have you had success with? Also do you have to use specific build plate PEI etc for best results? Thanks for the help
any chance you reckon this design would work for some concept to reduce/eliminate wingtip stalls entirely? i want to find some plane to print out as a test dummy where the wingtip has +-180 of travel, with a system measuring AoA n using that to position the servos. Would modify the print to support these things, but in simulations ive been able to get thrust vector-like maneuvering this way
Dude how did you gaff your hand right ❤there I've done that before too it's such a bad place be ready it will take forever to heal because you break it back open all the time!!!!!
Ive done it twice on wood chisels it hurts so bad ive literally been shot and I would rather be shot than cut right there. If you were to make a duct from lexan from the terminus of the fan unit to right at the end of the tail it will make a noticeable difference in low end thrust and top speed I promise. Love your designs by the way if I weren't broke I'd have them all. Waiting on the x29 it may be time to ask for forgiveness as apposed to permission lol. Also a rudder on the XL would be super trippy and very agile! I'd also get in trouble if you were to put functional canards on the SU-47. Also what software do you use to design these please?
I'll be buying this ship soon (still messing around with the Mini-delta and F4D) and I'd asked you to look into doing a FanJet 600 but I also hope you do a SR-71 40mm someday.
@@hotlapkyle awesome, it seems perfect for a EDF ruclips.net/video/Z_X-mBsmCm0/видео.htmlsi=bCWgOxCygfsRDaZz Doesn't need landing gear for one of your models, I'd think
I started having bed adhesion issues too. After trying several things with no good results, I started wiping down the bed between prints with windex and the bed adhesion issue went away.
I realize that in looking at the F19 stealth fighters wing design looks like the wings would break on landing because of the bow of the wings being below the aircraft, however because of the cupping effect of the wings it would allow for an even slower landing speed and with the rounded wing tips it would have nothing to catch on when landing the aircraft, but even if you could never get the plane to fly (which I know that you can) you could make a fortune on selling just a display model simply because nobody else has ever even tried to make it, I know you may have had your doubts about the F16XL at first also, but I personally think that the F19 will be your favorite plane that you have ever seen in the air but you can also say that you made it happen first, please say that you will at least try to build one, if for nothing else a display model, but I personally want to see it fly myself, how about you, can you see any money into it

Great question! Any of my designs can be scaled to your hearts content and if your build plate is tiny say 100/100/100 you can take my parts and slice them in half then glue them back together. Just a little more work. So any size build plate. 90% of my designs are made to fit a 220/220/220 or 250/250/250. I use slicer generated infill so you can cut them in 1/4 parts if you want and glue them together with medium CA glue
Would you like me to make a video explaining how the process works from downloading to printing? Like a general over view ? I’m thinking of doing this to help people get all the basics
@@hotlapkyle yea, and like, i have a 3d printing is it just a special filament or do i need a special printer. Can i get them to scale, i would want a wingspan of like 4.5ft or maybe a touch more (at least on an mq-9)

Well done! For the smaller diameter magnets glue 2 togther and install if the hole is deep enough. The field will be stronger to hold th hatch...

any way you could start making these so the xfly fits perfectly? The powerfun edf's are becoming hard to get nowadays

Yes cleaning helps! Bambu glue is the best!
What glue gun do you use? My cheap glue gun doesn't get hot enough, so the glue dries quite fast too soon after applying
Never mind I got my answer from pausing the video - 100 Watts
