Let me know if this is helpful and what else you like; I can do other dastgahs, show more fingerings etc. To really play well listen to the true masters though!
@seyedmohammadsalman @persianney No kidding man, I thought he is Persian. Wow you're brilliant sir. I myself am a beginner and I have learned a lot from you. Actually I could make a sound out of my ney for the first time, after watching you video, lesson Thanks again and keep uploading
I checked your website and was able to find answers to most of my questions... You probably receive many suggestions and recommendations as to what kind of videos you should put up, and the one I'm about to humbly suggest has probably already been asked of you. I thought that it might be useful to have a lesson with the camera angle from the profile perspective (side angle). I thought that this might really show what your're doing with your fingers. I'm not sure though.
Can you Sir please do some very basic simple demo of Shur ,Dashti ,Beyat-e turk etc on ney with slow motion and finger action for benifit of begginer as the existing one appears to very fast and quick grasp. Pleas, please Sir help and kindness would oblige Yes Sir you are good and great and your kindness will live for ever in soul of lover of ney music
Hello Mr Kees. Thank you for these lovely videos. A few questions, how much do you charge for lessons.. I live in Vancouver so they would be conducted in person I suppose, I don't know if that makes a difference? Also, I'm having trouble playing in the higher registers, any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated. Lastly, what's this easiest way to figure out what kind or ney you have... I think mine is somewhere in the middle range. Thank you very much.
I have been playing ney for sometime ( 6 months) , that is after I was able to hold a sound, but I cannot get a clean higher register, can you help? thank you and you are truly a gift to all of us, thank you
I think I may need to to have an artificial palate molded to make my palate smooth do you think any dentist can help or do I need to go to someone special for help or do you recommend one who may have the previous knowledge and so
You play very beautifully
you are truly truly an inspiration, thank you
