Can’t wait to see part 2! The smudge lipstick on YooHyeon from the It’s Live Maison performance is part of the makeup concept. If you watch other Mason performances, you’ll see the smudge makeup/battle scar makeup for the other girls. And We Bridge wasn’t even a full DC concert. 😂 I hope in the future you can see DC live when they tour. It’s amazing! Warning if you ever go to a DC concert, take concert earplugs. Your ears might be ringing after the concert. I learned that after my very first DC concert.

Hello :D it's me, back with a long comment. Thanks for the fun reaction, even when you're not feeling great. I hope it gets easier. May I just say, your reaction to Dami in "MAISON" is such a mood. I wasn't even a huge fan of this song the first time I heard it, but Dami's charisma is undeniable. Also, I feel like "MAISON" is the MV where most people who aren't long-time InSomnias realized how powerful Gahyeon's facial expressions are. She showed a little of her power in "BEcause," but "MAISON" had so much. "MAISON" MV was filmed entirely with greenscreen and CG since DC was promoting environmental conservation and wanted an MV with 0 waste from sets, paints, construction, etc. "MAISON" also has extremely taxing choreography, which is why they chose not to dance during "Its Live" the way they used to. ...I love how they can't resist doing bits of their dance anyway, though. Yes, I've seen the video you're talking about re: DC's influence on Kpop. And yep. "VISION" is...highkey one of my favorite DC title tracks. It flips with a few others depending on the day and my mood, but it's one of those songs that just personally clicked for me on the very first listen. That doesn't happen with a lot of music; it normally takes like two or three listens for me to really start to vibe, but I've been in love with "VISION" since 2 minutes after it dropped. There's an "Its Live" for "VISION" as well, btw, but it also contains the b-side "Some Love" from that album. I'm not an audio expert, but I _think_ what happened with Dami's rap in the fancam for "VISION" is that the cheering was so loud that the camera's little microphone didn't know what to pick up. She sounded fine in the places where people weren't cheering super loudly on top of her, so...that's my theory. OT7 "Scream" is so powerful. I love them. DC self-made MVs are always such a treat. I can't remember if you've ever reacted to one before...? Sorry. If I'm repeating myself, just ignore it. DC self-made MVs are usually just the members goofing around with their staff and stuff during album promotions when they have to wait for hours in music show green rooms. I would recommend listening to the lyrics of the song before watching the self-made MV, usually. But they're always so much fun. I have never gotten to see DC live and likely won't since I live in Japan, where they are no longer actively promoting, but...I know for a fact that I would cease to exist if I got to experience "Break the Wall" live.

"Maison" is part 1 of the Apocalypse trilogy. Dreamcatcher are touching on a very important subject here. Maison is French for "house" or rather "home", and they are singing about everyone's home, which is our planet. Previously they talked about online hate, now they are tackling an issue that impacts the whole planet and therefore everyone. Climate change is going to affect all of us, and it is already affecting many people. Island Nations will disappear under the ocean ("Save my home in the ocean"). Ice melts in the arctic and displaces people ("Save my home in the polar"). Forests get decimated by corporate greed and habitats get destroyed ("Save my home in the jungle") and disappearing glaciers and snow packs result in even less water for deserts ("Save my home in the desert"). People have a natural tendency to ignore issues that seem to be in the future - but climate change is here, right now. We can't wait anymore, and it is good that Dreamcatcher use their platform to promote change: "Break your habit now!" Musically I really enjoy the song. Like in BEcause, the rock/metal vibe is dialed back a bit, but it is still there and highly distorted. Although the more I listen to it, the more Rock I hear. I especially like how the pre-chorus and chorus seems to appear out of nowhere, the chord progression in the bridge, and the epic end part. The bass line is crazy as well. LEEZ and Ollounder (their producers) have done it again, and the members are just brilliant. Respect! "Vision" is part 2 of the Apocalypse trilogy. While "Maison" was talking about the destruction of the environment, here they seem to be talking about the destruction due to war. I don't know if that was the idea from the beginning, but Putin's aggression definitely played a role here. In one set they even dance in front of what looks sort of like a huge trident, which is the coat of arms of Ukraine (could be a coincidence though, or this is me seeing things). It could be about North Korea as well after all. It is easy to see how the conflict in Ukraine could result in global destruction. It's just a push of a button away. Note that Dami presses a launch button, but it's not for nukes. It's for spreading their message, their vision. Peace. To be heard all around the world. The song is also a call for action, to stand together against aggressors and those who are destroying the planet out of greed. There is not much difference between someone leading an army or a corporation, if the result is destruction. Still, Dami said the intention is to resolve the problems in a peaceful way. So, what do we do? There is no easy answer. Dami has an outfit that shows that perfectly. One half is an innocent bridal dress, the other half is simply badass. What I know is that any aggressor only listens to very limited diplomacy, and they need to know that the good in the world is ready and willing to fight them if needed. Whoever the aggressor is, we are more than them. They need to know they will never succeed, the only option is peace. By the way, my interpretation could be completely wrong, any other theory is perfectly valid as well. Musically, it's heavier than Maison, and I feel it fits the subject matter very well. It sounds aggressive and heavy, but also soft and vulnerable. There is the duality again. And I love the fake keychange at the end of the chorus, the crazy bass and the guitar in the bridge. All in all this is a fantastic release!
I would love to see a part 2! If you liked "Break the Wall" you're also gonna like "Sahara", it has the same rock vibes, and it also has a self made MV. @13:10 Last year they went to a festival in Spain (Primavera Sound), and they were the only kpop group there (and the 1st one to be invited) so a lot of the people there didn't know them, and they got praised a lot too. We were so proud of them. 🥹 If you ever have the time, i recommend watching their set or maybe just a couple of songs, they did 12 in total (there's an official video in the Primavera Sound channel), even if you don't record your reaction. I agree with you, DC's concepts are something else. The only other group that is dear to my heart like DC is GFriend, and i don't think I'll ever find another group like the both of them. 🥲

Maison and Vision has different structure of music arrangements compared to other DeuKae's discography... That's why, for me, I had a hard time to chew for the first time, but as I listened to them more and more, the excitements are coming straight to me and smashed my face hard... They grew, I'd never thought a song can grew, but now I witnessed 2 of them... The sensations are similar to when I listened to progressive rock/metal, my mind and body have to adapt and getting better introduction to the song first to be enjoying it in the full excitement... I feel my body getting more relax when break the wall was introduced in this video, cause my mind probably telling the body that this is just a usual pattern, don't think too much😅 Amazing reaction as always! You only have to watch the new 4th Gen Kpop girl groups to see the what Dreamcatcher has accomplished, and for very little reward. I guess that's the fate of the trailblazer. If it hadn't been for their international fans they probably wouldn't still exist. You should watch the dance practices for Maison and Vision. The choreo isn't complete without the backup dancers.
Yes vision was the fan meet the outfits from maison and break the wall/scream are the concert. Fun fact: they wore (maison/ break the wall/scream outfits for the Seoul concert last year)
Dami’s Maison rap did not hit me on first listen like her other rap verses have. It took 3 listens for it to finally hit me.. well the first half anyway because the second part had me from the start.. especially the “Hoo” . I love the message of Maison. As much as Deja Vu should have been the first win, it’s ironic that the first and second wins were with a song about saving the environment. Dong, JiU and SuA killed me.. well and Gahyeon because shirt hair Gahyeon was lethal. Maisons MV was done entirely on green screen/ CGI. Vision, I love the red military uniforms. Siyeon in the tanktop and Dongie with the shirts and top that show those guns. Dami’s rap hit me first listen like a Dami rap is suppose to. Siyeon, Dami, JiU, Dongie came for me ass; but nothing new there really. 🤷♀️ what’s a Singbin bias, JiU bias wrecker and Dongie simp to do. The MV was a mix of real set and CGI/green screen. I loved the mystery code for that album as it was a cypher and once decoded was a declaration of saving the earth from destruction. Break the wall is so good. Siyeon at the end- slay Wolfie, slay. I love their self made mvs- Sahara, Break the Wall and Poison Love so much. I wish we had one for Summer Holiday and Follow Us… Save Is would have been cool to, but for that we had solo song special clips. DreamCatcher live, they need no backing track. I think Dami’s was not turned up enough and Siyeon’s maybe a little more then needed. But they are professional and work though issues like that. They released the mystery code for the next comeback and I am still trying to make beards or tales of it or figure out where others got their answers from.
