We had the similar 264BH for about a year and loved it . Great for short term use and lots of storage for those longer adventures. Great for a couples camper or a small family.
We've used our TV exactly once on our very first trip because our sales rep asked us to test everything. I think we had it on for all of 3mins. I really should just pull it out of our unit.
The 264bh Jayflight is basically this exact camper with better tires and more features… yet still really cost friendly. Our family has a ‘22 version and after some more upscale travel trailers we actually appreciate the simplicity of this one. It also ties really well for its size.
@@Kristian_Saile nice! any issues after four years with it? The biggest reason we didn't go with this model was the length. We just couldn't fit it in our driveway
@@betterwithrum the only issues I have has were the back of the booth by the door coming apart and a few leaks in the plumbing that were just connections not tightened down enough. I fixed the booth dinette myself. My only things I dislike are partly related to ours being a ‘22. The upper bunk window doesn’t open so ventilation isn’t great. There are only USB chargers in the upper bunk, the newer versions have more throughout plus an upper bunk window that opens. Oh the newest versions have a medicine cabinet too. I added some easy led strip lights in the storage compartments as they have no lights. I haven’t done solar yet but I have a 300 watt system from a previous camper I am planning to add. We have 3 kids so five of us and it works well. We also have a smaller flying cloud Airstream that we picked up after this camper. Our kids line the Jayco better so this spring we are doing a 1 month 6,000 mile trip with the Jayco and not the Airstream, so that says something I guess. 😆
@ good stuff! We have three kids as well. We end up buying the ‘23 Ibex MBH and building out a third bunk by removing the other two bunks with the etrack system Ember uses. Our girls need their own spaces or WW2 breaks out. But we need more space. With all five us in there it’s like being in a large tent. ⛺️ we’re considering a 5th wheel if prices don’t climb too much.
Awesome to see a comfortable sofa to complement the diner booth dinette💥but no TV for cold rainy days like most RVs have, and Jayco’s $99 bathroom with a plastic toilet, a $5 shower curtain, and NO SHOWER OR FART FAN😳is as entry level as it gets☹️
When people are really shopping for an RV and watch the video of a model they like a few times, opening all cabinets is important. I think I watched your GD 2800BH video 8 or 9 times from start to finish.
Great review, this is the model we went with after watching your review on the 24 model. We swapped over from a Wolf Pup 17jg and love this thing. We’ve done a few short shakedown trips and can’t wait to get some more time in it.
Thank you for saving me $100,000. That’s what I was gonna give you for this camper because I wanted the dead bug, but since you said absolutely it was not for sale I’ll keep my money. Thank you again for the savings 😂
We just bought one of these and are really excited to get out and use it. I agree, no vent fan and medicine cabinet was a mistake but I plan on adding them over time. Are the Jay Flights going to be a thing of the past? I noticed on their website that all jay flight models are dealer stock only.
Josh this is a great floor plan. A bit above just a basic RV. As always I’m not crazy about the bunks. Although they would be good for visitors. I would actually go ahead and take those out if possible and make it a small office or a big closet. I actually like the kitchen set up. I think there’s plenty of storage room and with the cooking combo you can’t go wrong. The shower has plenty of room in it and honestly, I like the idea that there’s a small tub in it. In the bathroom, I would like to see a max fan and probably would get one put in instead of whatever the heck that is that’s in there now lol. In the kitchen, obviously I would’ve loved to seen a really nice backsplash on that but you can put in your own. Definitely might be the way to go as it would be your choice and not theirs lol. Also if I had my way, I would go ahead and take out the dinette and make a little bar there that could also be an office space. The bedroom is rather basic but again what more do you need. And I agree to go ahead and replace the mattress with a true queen. I would also say that the cargo tunnel that they have above the bed could disappear and give it a more open feel.😂. And truly, I like the idea that it does not have any slides! Less things to worry about breaking right ! I will say in the outside compartments I really wish they would paint the raw wood. It almost feels like they just skip it and it looks a little cheaper when they do. It would be nice if they painted it whatever color, just put something on there That makes it look nicer. And thank goodness they have the wheel well protectors in case you have a blowout. About time! I think every single RV should have one of those. as for the tires, you can just switch them out with whatever you want. So no big deal. How much solar do you think they could actually put on top of this thing? It would be nice to have a beefier solar output. Overall, I really like the RV. Great video Josh. Keep Rockin it brother 🤩✌️
Classic Layout! Pound-for-pound & $-for-$, likely one of the best family camper designs. Friends have Heartland’s, Trail Runner version of this….been rocking it for years. And at this point, No idea why ALL bunks wouldn’t have the little light / USB combo my 22’ North Trail 24BH has. How much more could that possibly add to the cost? 🤷♂️
Appreciate the detailed breakdown! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (mistake turkey blossom warfare blade until bachelor fall squeeze today flee guitar). How can I transfer them to Binance?
I love it! I’d love it even more with even a fart fan or the Tuesday variety…as well…why the heck did they remove the USB port from the top bunk??? I like the extra space of a slide version but don’t necessarily want the extra maintenance. But really…why and how Josh did you add bunny ears near the end of the awesome video?? Bahaha once I saw I couldn’t unsee…you’re welcome!! #rvnerdherd
Love it. But I love a camper with a slide out. Do they had a model with a slide out in this same size? Do you still camp in this model today? Overall nice. Thank you!
Nah, im sorry. I have a 2018 Jayco. Take all that underbelly enclosure and insulation out!! If water gets in, and it will, the underbelly doesnt allow the cheap white batt insulation to breath. I have to rebuild some of my under floor (that rotted out) and black mold remediation on the underbelly cheap wood. It should never be enclosed, the wood cant breath and dry out. Just spray paint it black.
Oh boy, must be some cost cutting going on because I went back and looked at your 2023 review of this unit and it had USB ports in the upper bunk in '23. ruclips.net/video/LPFosjQJ2N4/видео.html Time stamp 5:14. I don't know that it's a deal breaker, but I guess with where inflation is, this is probably just one of the areas Jayco is trimming features out to keep the unit price reasonable?? I don't know that for sure, just a guess. But it is interesting that it's gone and you noticed it too.
The linked video is the 264bh which is the slightly upscale Jayflight version versus this video being of the 260bh version. Exact same camper/layout just optioned differently
I like the convection microwave far more than the oven. A bathtub in an RV makes NO sense, people wash babies all the time in a shower. That being said, for the money and for a family starting out camping this could be an excellent choice.
The perfect family starter is the backseat of a 1986 Camry and half a bottle of crown royal.
😂😂😂😂
I like the footage of the storage. Sometimes you have a full door and only a half a cabinet.

Came so close to buying this. Love this floor plan. No slide, checks all the boxes. I'd love to see a dressed up one from Brinkley or Alliance.

The editor has been doing a great job! He's keeps the video's flavor but adds to it.
It's just a step to the left, and a twist to the right! Thanks Nerd!

Right at the end of the video he pans over to the next camper which is a similar size/layout but with slide.
science fiction, double feature, Doctor X will build a creature.
