@@eratoster777one of my Plini clone hero charts has one labeled as Djazz for the genre and I feel like it's the most accurate thing I've ever seen lol
I've been addicted to this song and can't stop coming back...Plini is such a masterclass joy to listen to...don't ever stop making music man. I knew from the moment I heard "Heart" 10 years ago that you were going to be one of my biggest influences. Much Love
Steve Vai once said and he was right “plini is the future of music when it comes to guitar playing” the lebel of composition and production of this piece is brilliant.
Brilliant production? Geezus, are you listening to a different song? This sounds F’ing horrible. I don’t know what “lebel” is, but if it’s some kind of shit, this nails it.
Wow. Such high praise as well. I loved Vai's music as soon as I heard it, but it took me years to realise just how good he is. To be praised by Steve Vai... well... it's important to appreciate just how special that is.
How in the WORLD does this guy go from being someone I've never really heard about much, to being my absolute favorite composer/guitarist of the modern age? Stunning and exceptional.
He is just that good...I grew up on Vai, Satriani, Eric Johnson, Petrucci....now I am full on Plini, Tim Henson & Scottie Lepage, Tosin Abasi kinda Stan 😊
Amen. He has that balance between form and emptiness. The fact that there is some space is one of the things that makes his music sometimes sound easier than it actually is! 😂
He masters space and where he wants sound to be for the listener physically... It's not just the playing it's the mixing and the producing... It's all just absolute perfection and I'm guessing it is exactly what plini was hoping it would sound like 😊
I still remember when his first EP on RUclips just had a few thousand views. At that's what I was thinking how can this music so futuristic have so little view. Now he is a phenomenal! Can't wait to see you in Chicago stay blessed brother❤
Plini I first started listening to you in Autumn of 2014, “tarred and feathered” blew me away. The range of music I listened to has changed, and so much has changed but it feels comforting to come back to you.
Words can’t describe how much peace this gives me. The way you build every section aaargh idk always puts a big big smile on my face every i hear you play
I feel like Plini's just constantly redefining what you should be allowed to expect from a guitar. It's like the guitar world keeps expanding with every new release.
The way your solos hit on the second step has always caught my attention. Also, how you can go high and energetic, then bring it back down to this weird shelterdd and cozy feeling of a place, then rip it back out off the couch into the back yard! Lol so cool!
Love the new track, Can't wait to see you live again Phoenix was so fun! Love the old school scales on this one making it sound liker a fusion of new prog but also some old funk rock type stuff.
Thanks for these modern guitar heroes, so kids these day keep picking up guitar to play and learn. Mateus Asato, Plini, Tim Henson, Matteo Mancusso, etc
You can't put this dude in a genre. He has a bit of everything, blended skillfully. Great composition, great playing.
He's genre
The closest we can say is Jazz-fusion-metal
@@eratoster777one of my Plini clone hero charts has one labeled as Djazz for the genre and I feel like it's the most accurate thing I've ever seen lol
Plini is in the GOAT genre.
@@jayyrod1 agreed
I like how when some of plinis songs are coming to an end, you can't remember how it started. He just takes you so far away sometimes
Incredible - so many styles blended together - 80s rock, country, modern Plini prog... loving it!
Plini, your music never fails to impress. 1:47 sounds amazing, always something new and interesting with every release!
Sounds a lot like Mark lettieri
@@seanmurphy7953 now that you said it. it has certain vibes to it.

You know you're epic too when you also remember when Steve Vai said that.
If you're not a student of Steve Vai, does that mean you're nobody?
Wow. Such high praise as well. I loved Vai's music as soon as I heard it, but it took me years to realise just how good he is. To be praised by Steve Vai... well... it's important to appreciate just how special that is.
His harmony is triadic, which limits him a great deal
What a great way to wake up on a Friday morning ❤
Instantly recognisable Plini - man that clean break - delicious
Glorious 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Beautiful, Plini 💛

I’ve seen him 4 times live already, it’s amazing every time
Daily structure practice
Plini basically introduced my to prog. Then I went down the rabbit hole listening to Math rock and the rest
Tab on my page

Amazing song.... 🙌🙌🙌🙌
Plini just makes such tasteful music. I get so excited to get the notifications for any of his new videos/music and I’m never disappointed with it.
Thanks for letting it breathe! Sometimes what you don't play is as important as what you do. Great track, Plini!

It's so sick to see how much this dude has progressed in the past 10 years
I still love and miss his halcyon period
He's got great stuff throughout his discog, but man the sunhead EP was just something else, that jazz fusion space really suits him.
And how he’s gone through the roof!
How? 10 years ago he was a noob?
@@Alex19II Dude what? Other Things, Sweet Nothings, and The End of Everything are all fucking incredible
That ‘clean’ tone is so good.

I m3an hardly anybody cared about Holdsworth until Eddie mentioned him
Dude listening to his EP for the first time in highschool blew my mind I felt like I was listening to a secret, insane

1:55 is such a lovely little phrase! Definitely very Mark Lettieri inspired and loving it 😉
Funny that you say that. I was thinking that section sounded very "Snarky Puppy" before I found your comment!
Thanks a lot for your music! It's amazing!
Absolutely fantastic 😍
Sälen, a skiing town in Sweden, will always have a place in my heart. So many good memories from there!
This is amazing. Thank you for the track

Reminds me of those first few EPs Plini put out - pure magic. Something I can't quite put my finger on. Love it.
I’m just speechless and hitting repeat 🔥🔥🔥
Plini, your music has been part of the soundtrack of my life since 2013, wether in the good and the bad times. This piece is pure joy to my ears...
I'm back for my 37th listen.
That country style solo really grows on your earhole.

This ditty covers me in goosebumps.
This was wonderful. I love the breakdown towards the end.
Very mystic sounding.
Finally, a Plini song I can try to learn without feeling like I have two left hands.
And of course it has to be blues-inspired. Love it.
SICK track!!! Emotive and playful!! Congrats on the guitar dude!
Love the new track, Can't wait to see you live again Phoenix was so fun! Love the old school scales on this one making it sound liker a fusion of new prog but also some old funk rock type stuff.
The ending felt like a respecful nod at Meshuggah. Similarities to Straws pulled at random.
Well done master Plini
We need a Salen Reprise.....this song just takes me far and away..... seriously more please 😊
I absolutely love this, Plini. Thank you for the music. 💛

Work was good today because of this
Plini has defs always been one of my favourites
Absolute class, this musician.
Classic Plini! That Strandberg is probably the slickest looking one yet 😲 outro breakdown is👌
Absolutely incredible
It sounds so much like a Telecaster, I love it 😍
Great tone Plini!
I've just come from a playlist of Deathcore, and this midrange is so pleasing.
Beyond words...
I clicked "thumbs up", before he even started playing. I liked the chair. And I like the song. Different this time. But great as usual.
New to me. Very VERY nice !
