    Raining over here in southeastern Indiana this morning but we had a stout weekend in the fields. (stout for only 1 combine that is and my red combine is only a 8250 not those big 9250s) I started soybeans Friday morning and ran corn at night. Corn and soybeans really good here. As close as I can tell by the monitor in the combine soybeans are pushing 90 bu/acre (about like last season) and corn is about 210 bu/per acre so I can't complain on non irrigated land. Good to see most everyone in Indiana and Illinois are harvesting good crops. Still a little early in Ohio as they are about 2 weeks behind Indiana from what I hear. Looks like rain until late Wednesday here so we can get thing repaired that needs attention and get some rest. Thanks for the videos Ivers Farms, I love hearing about what the crops are doing else where.

      Yes, that sounds like a great year! We got .1 of rain last night so the bean crew isn’t running. I’m seeing it raining about a mile away so the corn crew may be shut down shortly

    Love that drone footage of machines moving through the field. Really shows how everyone does their part to make it all flow smoothly. Also, love the sped up footage of the combine moving through the crop. Just think how fast you would get done if you could really move that fast. I know first hand what it is like to drive into the sunset picking corn and cutting beans both. Before any sensors to help you steer. Can't see a thing and hope for the best. One time I got stopped inches from gathering a skunk up into the bean head.

    The first thing I look for after Sunday morning church is look for the Ivers Farm video. I assume the new 9250 replaced the New Holland you had last year.

    Been liking the new tracks on the 9250 over the ones on the 9240? Is that a new design from CaseIH or aftermarket? Love the videos, keep up the good work! God bless!

      I was very excited for them. His first long trip he had a boogie go out so that’s not good. They are blaming it on them being torqued wrong so we will see.
      They come through case “power flex

    The drone footage at the start was pretty awesome with the lighting storm. I may have to invest in one of those. What's the farthest you typically have to haul to one of your grain bin sites?

    • @iversfarms
      @iversfarms  3 года назад +1

      10 miles is the farthest unless we are moving grain around to make room then it could be 30 miles

    Hello from Saskatchewan, Canada. I heard mention of 70 acres that you used to use as “set aside” acres. What does that mean ??
