As we say today, it looks like Mr. Drake had no effs to give. Thank you for covering this amazing jug, and the story of Mr. Drake. I need to get down to the VAFA when covid is over.

This felt like an appropriate follow-up for yesterday's video. I'm very curious to see what happens in this one.
I so respect Drake's bravery, intellect, and talent. I have to wonder if his couplet was meant to be amusing or some kind of coded message that contemporaries would understand... It's hard to believe that he would make such an effort and take such a risk just to crack wise, but I'm sure humor was invaluable in its own right at a time like that. I also have to wonder about Miles' role in it all, but he was evidently more friend than foe.. I guess.
This video left a better taste than yesterday's. It's a reminder that, despite the circumstance, you can still be your own person and achieve what you please.

I'm wondering what the properties of obsidian or ebony would be for carving ... so much white marble. Abolishing education in a democracy, is obviously undemocratic, as there is no true notion of democracy without education.
