Such cool planes. My uncle flew them for SAS in the 70's. ERA airlines in Alaska also had them. Flew on one from Anchorage to Valdez in the late 90's. They flew them to small remote airports. The planes had an integrated stair case, so there was no need for one on location. Tons of legroom, everything was made of metal, so a very solid interior. Great that there are some still flying.

Unfortunately this one was retired last year and is now on display in Wanaka. Very cool aircraft with a very cool history
