Unfortunately the mods already said the characters that they’re giving free tickets for, aren’t vital and basically irrelevant. Honestly would’ve been better if it was cubes, but ig it’s a step in the right direction and better than nothing.

This was 100% their pre planned event for the holiday season and they are just piggy backing off it to get people to shut up with maybe some increased rewards (bet it was 50 and no ap before). They are just going to keep spinning already planned stuff as "apology gifts" and the community will eat it up. Pretty sure I heard people mention we will get cubes for new years weeks ago. Was keeping up with the news to see if I would come back to the game but that ain't gonna happen.
