- Hello everyone! I am so excited about sharing this with you! In this video, I show you how to infuse oils to make a lovely anti-aging skin oil. This is a great application to use directly to your skin or to add to your favorite night or day cream. This oil is packed with antioxidants and skin loving properties like vitamin E and C.

I love how precise and methodical your preparations are and how clean you are, there's nothing worse than cooking or preparing oils and soaps with a disaster on the counter, I totally understand, it causes me to be distracted and I can mess up the recipes easily if things aren't organized, clean and out of the way 👍🏼👍🏼

Hello. Should you place wax paper in between the lid and jar so that when you shake the oil does not come in contact with metal? Also, if you are using solar infusion should you use an amber mason jar? The typical infusion period is 4-6 weeks with weekly shaking. I want to make sure that I understand solar infusion completely.

Hello, I use Qatmeal that I blend fine. when I use CP process. it dries and becomes scatchy. I use it, w a towel.

Thank you! I know it does seem wasteful, however after the oil has extracted all the constituents from the plant matter, they are just too spent to use again. So they get discarded.

Can you recommend some ingredients to make an oil for my teenage son with eczema his is head to toe and he has to take shots for it. Right now I am just infusing calendula flower and Jojoba:Olive oil. It’s his favorite oil! It helps but I would LOVE if you had any other recommendations! Thank you so much 🙏🏻
Hope your son is feeling better now. i recently made a blend for my son with 2 gm neem extract with castor oil, 6gm Jojoba, 2gm Helichrysum and it seems to be working. Hope this helps!

If you’ve put an extract into the oil, won’t you need a preservative being as there’s now water in an anhydrous solution?

When you say wipe down all your surfaces with rubbing alcohol do you mean isopropyl alcohol? Rubbing alcohol contains oil.
SW Green Desert yes 91% or 99% isopropyl alcohol
@@SunshineSoapandCandleCompany Any alcohol higer than 70% for disinfecting surfaces is a waste. WHY? High content alcohol evaporates to quick. You can buy it but need to dilute or just use bleach at 10:1, 10% bleach: 90% water.

I don’t know about state level, but don’t we need approval from fda or some sort of government approval if we claim it as cosmetic or anti something? Just wanted a clear info?
You don't need approval from anyone - but you do have to follow the rules/laws as far as labeling and you can't claim your product can "cure" anything. Always read the rules and proper packaging laws yourself rather than ask someone else because you can be sued if you don't do every single thing correctly.
You don't need approval, however, like @christee F said, you need to label your product correctly for any leave on product. Look up INCI labeling laws. Also you cannot make any claims about your product. For example you cannot say something like "this serum cures dry skin." Or, "This serum takes away wrinkles." Instead you would say something like: "this serum contains skin loving properties like vitamin C and E."
