I was pretty impressed with the direction they took with this Lizard. It was pretty mature and scary when they noticed the scales and how his head just caved in and him growing the snout and sharp teeth. It felt like a werewolf transformation
Fun fact: Connor's Voice actor, Dee Bradley Baker, this is not his first rodeo as Lizard. He voiced him in the awesome ps1 games. He also voiced Carnage in the games as well, and was going to reprise the role again in the cancelled season 3. Meaning we were going to hear that nightmare fuel laugh again from the ps1 games that carnage had. Such a shame. Dee would have been a blast to hear again as Carnage
Dee was killing it in 2008 like voicing the Lizard in this, voicing all the Clones in the Clone Wars, and voicing almost all the Aliens in Ben 10 Alien Force
2:38, I like the detail of his cranium just flattening like that. His cortex and inner region are gone and all that's left is the cerebellum and stem, which is often referred to as the Lizard's Brain.
The lizard man is a monsterous green reptile he's a big green reptile Mean machine this is Marcus Ortwine an actor I'm going to be playing doctor Curt Connors/the lizard a Spider-Man solo fan film based on The Amazing Spider-Man movie and Spider-Man 3 video game and The Amazing Spider-Man video game 2012 after the events of The Amazing Spider-Man and and ignores the events of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 2014 movie
I like that the transformation isn't quick, and looks and sounds extremely painful. It shows that this is not what was supposed to happen and that this is definitely not a good thing. Honestly, out of all the lizard transformations Ive seen, this is definitely one of the sadest and scariest.
I like for Dr.Curt Connors stages to transformation Lizard is - First Stage, Eyes & Skin becomes Reptile Form like 2:35 & 2:40 - Second Stage, begins to rapidly change body shape (head, neck, body, torso, arms & legs), hairs & ears are absorbed like 2:42 and acquires spikes from the spine and a long strong tail like 2:36 - Third Stage, transformation complete like 2:44 and become a Giant Monstrous Reptile without Connor's Clothes. I like Dr.Curt Connors like in the series and Lizard like from Marvel's Spider-Man 2, to come 20/10/2023 I like Lizard powers is Teeth & Claws, he can climbing and swimming.
Who is the lizard? Answer here: 'the lizard' is a man that losed hes arm. He used lizard DNA to regain back his arm. Why? Lizards can grow back any limb. Small sharp muscles in there limb. This makes them able to inattach there limbs. This is used for a predator trap. The predator grabs a limb of the lizard. POOF! Only the limb is in his hands wile the lizard runs away from is predator. So... after a couple days the limb will grow back. So the lizard has his arm back. But why does he transform into a lizard? Its because of the DNA. Thats all! Hope you enjoyed this video. Make sure you leave a like in this comment CYA! 👇
This whole series of scenes compared to most comic Lizard depictions is way better. Connor's wife actually seems to care about him even as he changes, not just runs away and shrieks like an emotional robot. Same with Billy. Probably the best depiction of the Lizard. Only thing I don't like about it is the way he changes - It looks almost goofy. It has nice details accentuating that he loses intelligence and grows a tail, but the way it was animated looks just silly. The tail forms from ropes of flesh too, like whaaaaat...
I do agree with you about the tail from flesh ropes (and his arm earlier in the episode) but the way his head distorts is just so cool looking, and honestly looks kinda painful. I wish more lizard transformation sequences looked painful like that. Gives a bit more sympathy to Curt and the idea that this is not how it's supposed to happen.
What are you talking about, in the comics Kurt's wife was mortified every time he transformed, she cried the first time Kurt went rogue as the lizard and her and Billy even had to move to Florida
I love Dr Connors, he was a man who lost his arm and didn't want that to happen to anyone else,so he thought using lizard dna because they can grow back their tail.... In reality it's actually possible to use wizard DNA for this.
Hope Dee Bradley Baker didn't hurt his vocal cords when doing the Lizard screech in recording booth because he was doing Star Wars: The Clone Wars movie and series as all of the clones and other animations and video games in 2008. Sorry, I feel bad for voice actors/actresses that almost lose their voice or pass out despite their cool vocal range that they can do.
So you’re telling me this had the possibility to be in the same universe as a movie where hulk punches wolverine so hard he forgets what happened for a second and is bleeding then hulk also rips a woman’s metal arms off yikes no wonder they didn’t add it lol
Ironically lizards can only regrow their tails and even then it’s more of a fleshly limb with no bones. Salamanders how ever can fully regrow their limbs no problem.
The book saids that some lizards lay hundred of eggs and never see them hatch most of the babies they get eaten by predators and the Parents don’t even care because they only got lizards Brains.
The Lizard transformation in movies, games and cartoons is usually a smooth morph. People found this one creepy because how violent and disjointed it looks, it sells the idea the Lizard is growing into a body that clearly isn't suited for him
@@francostevo9939 About this transformation of Dr. Connors on the lizard, I believe it's the way it was executed, the scenario in which it takes place and a number of other factors there.
The Lizard is such a stupid ass name for such a great Spider-Man villain. Marvel seriously couldn’t of come up with a cool name like the rest of Spider-Man’s villains???

We did get to hear him again, albeit in Ultimate Spider-Man.

if you ever think you are dumb, remember that Disney cancelled this to replace it with Ultimate Spiderman.
That's because the Ultimate Spider-Man show was bad because it wasn't true to the Ultimate Spider-Man comics.
Disney didn't cancel anything, both Disney and Sony couldn't continue the show because of copyright problems

Unfortunately due to marvel being sold to disney neither sony or disney could continue the show due to copyright dumb laws
It's amazing how Dee Bradley Baker can not only do Dr. Conners' voice, but also the animal vocals of his Lizard form.👏👏👏🦎🦎🦎
When you realize that he did Appa and Momo from ATLA it makes a lot more sence.
