Awesome review. My question is why did Hyundai discontinue the SEL Premium Package trim level?
Thanks for watching! I have no idea, but in my opinion they try to simplify things...and confuse people.
i think they just merged some of its feature into the convenience package instead of having two separate packages.
Thanks so so much for this information.
If you want a good idea for a video, you can make like a “Easter eggs, secrets, things that you didn’t know” about Elantra 2023. Could be a excelente video for your channel
Awesome idea! Thanks for watching. Ill look for those Easter eggs 😀
Is this the sel or the limited?
SEL
Is this a base model because it Don't have a sunroof
It is SEL 2nd trim from bottom. I think sunroof comes with Limited
@@MattTheCarguy I live in canada i actually booked 2023 Elatra Preffered Sun with tech can you please let me know is this the same car i booked ?
@@rohitmathi2773 I am sorry but I am not familiar with Canadian models and they do differ. Maybe one of the viewers can help?
@rohit mathi It'll be basically the same.. the sel is like the preferred with sun and tech minus the sunroof.. not sure though, if that white will be introduced in canada on the 2023 preferred trim.. dealers should know by now.. I ordered an essential a few weeks ago and they knew the colours for that trim..
@Matt The Carguy The wheels might also be different.. preferred will have 16" wheels and the wheels in this video look like they might be the 17" ones that came on the ultimate trim on 2022 models.. the preferred had all black 16" wheels in 2022 so those might carry over on the 2023's
what's the reliability of the IVT transmission?
I havent heard of any catastrophic failures yet. Its been around for few years.
I got 45mpg on my trip to Sfo
That's great!
I think a regular trail boss would be fine as well.
Any engine issues with new generation elantra? Hyundai is known for engine 🔥
I have not heard anything about these engines. The ones investigated for fires were up to 2019. Time will tell.
@@MattTheCarguy i hope not because im thinking about getting the '23 elantra n line otherwise i will be honda shopping
@@jbshp2011 its always good to follow some specific manufacturer's forums online. So far what i have seen is the seatbelt recall that affected relatively small number of vehicles.
I like the edges, gives it a bit more sport look. I have a 2000 Hyundai Elantra and I’m looking for an upgrade 😂 they got 2022 deals ..I might take that. Thanks so much for checking it out for us!
@@spazchicken1 basically the same as 2022 with some package changes. Thanks for watching!
I HATE that middle handle so much
Hahah it the barrier between you and the passenger. No funky business!
I don’t like it too lol. You’d never see that in a luxury vehicle
I think of the f117 when it comes to the Sharpe angels and such. I bought one in black yesterday and its freaking badass. And I can start it with my iPhone.
For those who dont like the shape there is always Kia Forte. Same guts different clothes 😄

Thank you for watching!!
They change the wheels 🤮 the black wheels looked better
Lol, like your emoji. I agree the wheels for 2022 looked better.
The black wheels are 16 inch. These are the wheels used for the limited trim in 2021-2022 and are 17. Much better upgrade. Plastic dip them black if you like them that way :)
@@JorgeSoto-el7ji I think the one in the video is limited because SEL wheels are black unless they did change the wheels on SEL for 2023
@@Elantra334 they did. The limited trim has a gloss black strip at the front bumper, gloss grill, and leather seats lol
Bro im not gonna lie the quality on that screen is not so high aint it?
Infotainment system?
