As a PoE fan, I think it's pretty cool that Avowed is catching attenttion outside the fandom! The New Vegas comparison is not that far off, considering Fallout 1 and 2 are old school crpgs that made the jump to first person shooter with rpg mechanics, same could be said about PoE and Avowed.
I didn’t even think of that, but it makes even more sense haha! I just love Obsidian and New Vegas, and thought this looked the part! But after playing the PoE games, I really hope the connect Avowed well enough and I am excited to see any connections! Plus, Avowed is definitely getting me at least to put hours into the PoE games before it comes out!
By the time i heard avowed was going to take place in PoE universe i started playing the first game and boy, people don't know what they are missing,PoE story is amazing. Shame people tend to not play it only because it's real time pause, wich at the PoE games, it' is not a greatpoint, but not bad
This is exactly how it went for me! I had no idea about PoE, then decided to play it before remaking this video, and I was surprised and very happy I decided to give the games a try! And anyone who thinks Avowed looks good, definitely need to give these games a try at least for the story!
too early to say whether or not this is any good - wait till reviewers get their hands on it, Obsidian is not what it used to be so people should sit down.
very different games, tho I believe they did mention in some interview last year that they were looking at the combat of dark messiah and vermintide 2 for inspiration.
I agree, plus they would definitely make more sales putting it on other platforms. But, with the talk of Xbox bringing their games to other platforms, plus upcoming titles like Stalker 2 deciding to go from xbox exclusive, then to other consoles later on, who knows haha, maybe the exclusivity will only be temporary!

I just want a new Dark Messiah Of Might And Magic....God I loved that game.

Kinda sucks that its gonna be xbox exclusive. I don’t like the issues xbox always have and dont have the extra funds for a pc 😩

I feel story will be very superficial as as the companions will be skin deep.
the "greater than skyrim" is outdated information, it's been confirmed for a while now that it's going to be more like outerworlds in size.
Well hey, with the different planets and such in The Outer Worlds, Avowed’s map should still be pretty big!
