Very nice interview!
If she can sing? That's not a question at all.
She moves every bone in my body. I rated very very highly.
She was in the Gayletts before I-Threes.
Oh Jah, this sister is walking with me and communicating with me. Temptation, frustration, desolation is a heartache we feel.
We still struggling but with your music and your voice we will ride the storm.
Much 💚♥️🖤 my sister and a conscious Black Woman. We are not mechanical we are human beings!
Peace!!!!!
It was one of the best musical experiences of my life to watch Judy Mowatt perform at Reggae Sunsplash 1992, and to briefly meet her after her set. She is a professing Christian and has been one for years now, so it would be interesting to know how she now handles any reggae song lyrics pertaining to 'King Selassie' or 'I and I'. Knowing how important her faith is to her, I'm guessing she uses more 'neutral', universally accepted words about God and about sisters' trials and tribulations.
ONE LOVE SISTER JUDY.
I think Koffee does have a resemblance of the young Judy Mowatt.
Real jah know more life sis
