Hi Kyle! Need I dare say that I Love the simplicity, the clean lines and the gorgeous workmanship. Pros like yourself make things look so easy! What plans did you follow? And I apologize if you have already answered this question. Thank you
Hector Alers Hi Hector, thank you for your feedback. I really appreciated. I used the Cunningham book as a foundation and relied on my best judgment and a lot of trial and error!
Excellent, I hadn't seen this method yet. As the old saying goes, "There's more than one way to frame up a skin-over boat!" ...or was it something about a cat? paddle on.
Здравствуйте ! Только недавно заинтересовался подобным строительствои лодок) подскажите пожалуйста что за материал использовали чтобы подобрать ребра по длинне? Мне кажется это сложнейший элемент) или я может просто не знаю как это сделать)
Hey.. I just ordered his book. few questions please: What was the toughest part of the build? total over all cost for all materials not inc tools.? and whats the width of your build and your height and weight? thanks
Chris no specific model. The build started off as a very calculated and as I went along it became much more "feeling" based. I salvaged lots of cheap lumber and built parts from that to get the look and feel I wanted while following some rough guidelines/images. Once I liked what I had, I made the final piece with the appropriate wood and installed.
Kyle Steward nice.. I'm starting my own first ever build next week.. Or whenever Cunningham's book arrives lol but im going to scale it to a really low volume 19 foot, 20.5 inch wide South Greenland. I'm nervous but excited. I'm not that great with wood working but got some friends who are..
Fantastic Kyle...Congrats on such brill work. How special a story also and now you got a "rockin horse" for the water :)
all I can say is "a beautiful build with lots of love in it".

Nice boat...but why in gods name did you paint it? Ron Swanson would be most upset.
I heard about woodprix instructions good opinions.
