I really feel sorry for those women because they've gone though a lot. And I also think that we should be there for women who made the decision to have an abortion. Still abortion is wrong. Thou shall not kill is a man made law. Not from the creator of the universe (planets, stars,, galaxies etc). If you believe that we should not kill than stop wars and the death penalty. I had a medication abortion when I was 20, I’m 22 now. I’ve always been a Christian but I really didn’t believe until after I did it. I know I made a mistake and I ask for forgiveness every day and I know I will ask for forgiveness every day until I die. I hated myself and wished that I could die a horribly painful way every days for months after. I thought, “I’m going to Hell and I deserve it, I don’t deserve to ever be happy in my life again. I wished for everything terrible to happen to me. I stopped talking to God bc I didn’t feel worthy of being in His presence. Two years later and I still pray for forgiveness. I try to be the best person I can be every day. I believe that God still loves me and that he know I truly am sorry for what I did. I was practicing safe sex but I’ve actually given up sex until I’m ready to marry. I would never stop somebody from making their own choice because we have free will on this Earth. I just know for me, I believe in God and I believe he forgave me and He’s the only one who I bow to and care for His opinion.
Anyone can believe in God. There are many religions that believe in God. That does not make them a Christian. There is only one way to be a true Christian, a beilver in Christ Jesus. That is truly repenting of our sins and putting our faith in Christ Jesus our Lord. Being a true disciple in Christ Jesus is a way of life. We need to live it and the way to live for God is through Jesus Christ our Lord. Jesus is the only way to God. There is no other path to God. When we repent and ask for forgiveness and when we believe in Jesus that he is the Son of God. God sends us His Holy Spirit to seal us. Then we are no longer a slave to sin. After we truly receive salvation from our Lord and Saviour Jesus. We become a new creature in Christ. I know because I lived a double life for 24 years. I was supposedly a Christian but I was living worldly and pleasing my flesh more then our Heavenly Father. So, in a sense I was still a slave to sin. I was constantly mastrrbating to porn, I enjoyed getting drunk, I would have sexual thoughts and wicked thoughts more often then I do now. I was addicted to tobacco. I would go to church when I felt like it. I loved God but in the end the Holy Spirit showed me I can't serve God and the world. In mid December 2019 I finally surrendered my entire life to Jesus Christ and told Him. "What little faith I have Lord is yours take it". I truly repented and I can say with all confidence I am no longer a slave to sin. I praise God. Jesus did and does all the work. I still sin every believer does but we are not a slave to it. The Holy Spirit gives is the strength to say no.All it took was faith very little faith in Christ Jesus. We just need to truly repent of our sins to God, believe in Christ Jesus as our Lord and Saviour and only way to God the Father. Then we need to receive His forgiveness and then we can truly begin to enjoy a personal relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord:). Pray everyday, praise the Lord everyday, and read His Word everyday. Believe and watch how God can use you.

@@Evergreenforest33 honestly it’s been a long journey. I know that God still loves me because I feel Him all around me. I already wasn’t a judge mental person before it happened but i feel even less like one now. You’ll be okay. Just keep Him in your heart. Whenever you’re feeling low, just read about ‘gutsy guilt’. It works for me every time. And if you ever feel like you can’t breathe, just stop whatever you’re doing, take a break and just talk to Him. It calms me down and I feel so much lighter afterwards. @@sincityquinn you misunderstand that passage. you have to understand the context of the situation and the culture. first of all, in this passage, they are not talking about abortion, they are talking about whether a woman has been unfaithful to her husband. If the husband suspects this and is jealous, then he is supposed to bring her to the temple priest and she is to drink the holy water. If she was innocent, then the water would do nothing. but if she was guilty of being unfaithful, then she would miscarriage. right here is where most people get confused. the woman is NOT choosing to have a miscarriage. this is actually a way of punishment for being unfaithful. usually in the Jewish culture of that time, they would stone the woman that had been unfaithful. this was just another form of punishment. you might say that God is being unjust and cruel, well, he is God, God can do nothing wrong. God cannot sin. But, we as humans, being imperfect, will always sin. God sets the standards and the way that he chooses to discipline or punish us for our sins will always be just. Besides, He is God. We honestly have no right to question His ways of discipline. In the end, this passage does not condone abortion because the woman is not choosing to miscarry and it is actually a way of punishment for being unfaithful to her husband. My abortion were forced and coerced. My boyfriend at that time was nothing but a liar and forced me due to the fact that he did not get to have sex with me first. It took me many years later to understand that and now I am very pissed. I hope he goes back to hell. I told him I wanted both of them. I have always struggled with one issue, I don't think Germans in 1940 were devoid of basic morality. I always said I never would but you just don’t know until it’s your situation. Everyone has the right to choose what to do with their bodies. But one person's rights shouldn't trample on another person's. That being said, in many cases, I believe abortion is wrong (as it is amurder), but I understand this is a very nuanced area. I pray that these women continue to grow in their faiths. I pray for other women who are going through similar situations to find peace and that God will rebeal to them the correct course of action. I pray that women who receive abortions arent judged by their communities or other believers. I pray that we, as a society, can better take care of women who are going through these issues. If a woman is only having an abortion because she can't feasibly raise a child, then the church should step in to give her the support she needs.

I got saved as a young adult filled with the Holy spirit. I fell away from God and had an abortion. I repented and havent forgiven myself. DAY AND NIGHT I am tormented that God can not forgive me because it was after I was born again and spirit filled. I had a medication abortion when I was 20, I’m 22 now. I’ve always been a Christian but I really didn’t believe until after I did it. I know I made a mistake and I ask for forgiveness every day and I know I will ask for forgiveness every day until I die. I hated myself and wished that I could die a horribly painful way every days for months after. I thought, “I’m going to Hell and I deserve it, I don’t deserve to ever be happy in my life again. I wished for everything terrible to happen to me. I stopped talking to God bc I didn’t feel worthy of being in His presence. Two years later and I still pray for forgiveness. I try to be the best person I can be every day. I believe that God still loves me and that he know I truly am sorry for what I did. I was practicing safe sex but I’ve actually given up sex until I’m ready to marry. I would never stop somebody from making their own choice because we have free will on this Earth. I just know for me, I believe in God and I believe he forgave me and He’s the only one who I bow to and care for His opinion.

When we repent and ask for forgiveness and when we believe in Jesus that he is the Son of God. God sends us His Holy Spirit to seal us. Then we are no longer a slave to sin. After we truly receive salvation from our Lord and Saviour Jesus. We become a new creature in Christ.
I know because I lived a double life for 24 years. I was supposedly a Christian but I was living worldly and pleasing my flesh more then our Heavenly Father. So, in a sense I was still a slave to sin. I was constantly mastrrbating to porn, I enjoyed getting drunk, I would have sexual thoughts and wicked thoughts more often then I do now. I was addicted to tobacco. I would go to church when I felt like it. I loved God but in the end the Holy Spirit showed me I can't serve God and the world. In mid December 2019 I finally surrendered my entire life to Jesus Christ and told Him. "What little faith I have Lord is yours take it". I truly repented and I can say with all confidence I am no longer a slave to sin.
I praise God. Jesus did and does all the work. I still sin every believer does but we are not a slave to it. The Holy Spirit gives is the strength to say no.All it took was faith very little faith in Christ Jesus. We just need to truly repent of our sins to God, believe in Christ Jesus as our Lord and Saviour and only way to God the Father. Then we need to receive His forgiveness and then we can truly begin to enjoy a personal relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord:). Pray everyday, praise the Lord everyday, and read His Word everyday. Believe and watch how God can use you.

I already wasn’t a judge mental person before it happened but i feel even less like one now. You’ll be okay. Just keep Him in your heart. Whenever you’re feeling low, just read about ‘gutsy guilt’. It works for me every time. And if you ever feel like you can’t breathe, just stop whatever you’re doing, take a break and just talk to Him. It calms me down and I feel so much lighter afterwards. If the husband suspects this and is jealous, then he is supposed to bring her to the temple priest and she is to drink the holy water. If she was innocent, then the water would do nothing. but if she was guilty of being unfaithful, then she would miscarriage. right here is where most people get confused. the woman is NOT choosing to have a miscarriage. this is actually a way of punishment for being unfaithful. usually in the Jewish culture of that time, they would stone the woman that had been unfaithful. this was just another form of punishment. you might say that God is being unjust and cruel, well, he is God, God can do nothing wrong. God cannot sin. But, we as humans, being imperfect, will always sin. God sets the standards and the way that he chooses to discipline or punish us for our sins will always be just. Besides, He is God. We honestly have no right to question His ways of discipline.
In the end, this passage does not condone abortion because the woman is not choosing to miscarry and it is actually a way of punishment for being unfaithful to her husband.

I have always struggled with one issue, I don't think Germans in 1940 were devoid of basic morality. I used to say maybe the population at large didn't know that thousands of Jews were being gassed and cremated. I refused to accept that that germans knew what was going on but choose to keep quiet.

I always said I never would but you just don’t know until it’s your situation. Everyone has the right to choose what to do with their bodies. But one person's rights shouldn't trample on another person's. That being said, in many cases, I believe abortion is wrong (as it is amurder), but I understand this is a very nuanced area.
I pray that these women continue to grow in their faiths. I pray for other women who are going through similar situations to find peace and that God will rebeal to them the correct course of action.
I pray that women who receive abortions arent judged by their communities or other believers. I pray that we, as a society, can better take care of women who are going through these issues. If a woman is only having an abortion because she can't feasibly raise a child, then the church should step in to give her the support she needs.

I got saved as a young adult filled with the Holy spirit. I fell away from God and had an abortion. I repented and havent forgiven myself.
