Why did you have to drill holes for the fairlead? there were 2 existing holes ... were they not the correct distance for the Badlands winch? did you need it lower? Now that you have this up and running would you use the Badlands zxr2500 again or another winch? Thank you for you help and feedback !!!
Correct the holes didn't line up. The badlands winch has already earned its keep out wheeling several times. The remote is the weak spot tho and I am hardwiring a switch on mine as a back up.
What is that big box along the electrical chord? The video skipped when you were saying what it is ... its the black box you had to drill the holes for in your tool box. Thank you
Was it during tightening? I have a long time fear of stripping things so it's kinda my way of torquing, if that makes sense. I know what you mean tho :) Thanks for the comment
thanks for taking the time to make the video, much appreciated
My pleasure!

How would the cable not rub on your bumper raising a plow?
Are the wireless remotes good for snow plowing - or is it better having controls mounted on handlebar?
I don't like that there's no hard wired switch for backup. The remote is nice for occasional use
Great video! I’ll be doing this soon. Can I ask where you got the rear bars for your quad? I can’t find any for my 2008 sportsman
Cool! I am the second owner but I think they were stock. Happy wheelin'

Yes that is the control box for the remote control
Good Job bud!!
Hold on Margaret!!
Can you post the mounting plate used and what winch would line up with the holes?
The plate is from Extreme Max Products part #5600-3145 and likely any brand winch will work
Under your fourwheerler is the gas tank aluminum
My tank is plastic with a heat shield bud
Thanks 🙏
You hold your ratchet wrong you making it hard on yourself . Don't grab it around the neck grab down more so it's much easier nice job cool quad
